Overall a nice stay. The property itself is very dated and needs a renovation/upgrade. But the service at breakfast, and the views from the upgraded rooms are great. Standard rooms are not great. Reception staff average. Gym needs more weights/equipment (but decent room). Some small improvements ...

The Best of Taormina
Excellent hotel and better to stay there at least 2 nights, so that you could on the one hand enjoy the hotel facilities, including the pool & the beach & on the other hand visiting the attractions at Taormina.I would love to stay at this hotel in case of future visiting for sure!

The location was perfect and the penthouse unit was suburb. Has everything you need. Staff was very friendly. On Saturday night there were a lot of young adult locals partying loud and late in the front parking area which was annoying and disruptive to our sleep
