“Lots of good to say about this place. Lovely surroundings and truly quiet (could occasionally hear passing cars on the highway, but the cabin is a decent distance away and the amount of traffic is fairly light). Lots of walkable, even hikeable, areas on the property. Cozy furnishings, though dining room table is tiny, even for one person. Internet is decent - I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to work there (LAN connection) and stream, but not sure how that would go with more than one……

“Place was as promised. The check in and check out process was simple and easy. We stayed in the summer but can just imagine how great it would be to be there during the ski season. Set up well for large groups.”

“If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you, absolutely stunning property. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. The wifi is weak but that didn't deter us as there was a visitor center a few miles up the road with free wifi, not sure about cell coverage as I don't own a cell phone. Near Devils Tower and Deadwood. I would give home on the range 5/5 gold stars”

“This property was the perfect getaway for our South Dakota vacation. We went to Mt Rushmore, hiked on trails along the Needles Highway, did exploring and Jeeping in and around the trails in the Black Hills and when we returned to the house it was always so accommodating and equipped for us to do whatever we needed to do to complete our day and get ready for the next day, including relaxing in the awesome hot tub!! We also loved the game room and the open areas in the house including the TV and……

“We had a very enjoyable Christmas with our family in this home once we were able to connect with the host. VRBO failed to communicate with him about our reservation and he went above and beyond to accommodate us after we contacted him for check in information. Considering he didn’t know we had booked until 3 days before he was amazing. I hope VRBO will do a better job notifying the property host in the future.”
