「Amazing location right on the beach and 10 minute walking to Pancake Rocks! Cabin was great with a small fridge and kettle, and had a nice private deck to sit out on. The shared kitchen was really helpful and the camp provided all the cooking supplies we needed!」

「We loved staying in this historic bach right on the water. It had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. We had a great time checking out the Paparoa track, fishing the Fox and Pororari rivers and exploring nearby caves. Would definitely come back for another weekend away! 」

「Nice clean property with decent view of ocean. Has amazing sunsets. Recommend owner add scrubber sponge for dish washing, more hand towels, and dish towels. Also recommend better labels on rubbish, recycle and compost bins because it was a total guess on how to distribute waste. Very good remote property, some highway noise but limited to occasional vehicles. Would definitely stay there again. 」

「A bit of a surprise to find we (4) were sharing the house with the owners, plus a Canadian. We had thought that our 4 were going to have a bedroom each, as per the BookaBach description of the property. Two guys had to share a room.The owners were a delightful, very helpful Chinese couple, who made us welcome and accommodated our Ebikes in their garage to recharge. 」

「Super well stocked off grid cabin, overlooking a valley. Hammocks and bbq on deck with lots of cooking supplies. Cabin is beautifully decorated with books and games. Trails down to the river and a beautiful look out spot! Sunset - gorgeous! Really loved it! Host warm and friendly and has a home close by. One of my favorite stays on the South Island! 」

「Traveling with my parents and weren’t sure how they would like staying in a yurt but they loved it! More lux than I would’ve imagined! Lovely view of the Tasman sea, as well as a walkway along the cliffs and one down to the sand. We got there right as the sun was setting and it was beautiful. Definitely recommend getting there before sunset to be able to relax and watch it. Super amazing stargazing of the milky way at night! We only stayed one night, if we had more time on our trip we would have...
