"This property is very expensive but horribly overpriced. It is tiny and as near as it’s possible to be at the edge of a very busy noisy road. One bedroom was so small it required our friends to clamber over one bed to get in to the other. Access is very difficult and parking very tricky with the need to manoeuvre down a very narrow lane. We were woken by the noise of traffic thundering past almost incessantly from 5 in the morning. The property description, though technically correct, omits some...

"We had a lovely night at this hotel when attending one night at the 2000 Trees festival nearby. The girl at front desk was very friendly and helpful. We used the gym, pool, sauna and steam rooms. All were very clean. Our room was soa ious enough for 3 adults. The air con was very welcome in the 30 degree heat outside and the beds were super comfy. We would not hesitate to come back."

"We were very impressed by the De Vere, a beautiful place, very comfortable. Loved the Library Bar and restaurant. The breakfast, with loads of,choice and variety was impressive, and the staff were pleasant and polite. The room was comfortable and clean. Although no air con, a good fan was provided, but then the weather was particularly hot! We also enjoyed the Tipi restaurant, lovely food, with excellent waiting service. We would definitely return, to check out the area generally."
