「My adult son and I were long overdue for a mother/son getaway, so we chose this tranquil little spot right on Lake Champlain. It was perfect for a weekend of relaxation and reconnecting. We enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen, sitting by the fire, and conversing and laughing on the shore of the lake while watching the sunset. Even my 25-year-old adrenaline-junkie boy said he was able to relax.」

「Very clean and cozy cabin. We liked the remote area with beautiful scenery but still appreciated the general store right next door. We had some snowy weather crop up that prevented us from hiking around the area, as is the risk early in the season being fair-weather hikers, but we will try again next time. We so appreciated the dog-friendly stay and the fully stocked kitchen. Thank you.」

「First time on VRBO, long time Aerbxb'er, I must say the experience was absolutely perfect! This cabin lives up to just about anyone's ideal, and the hot tub is the best I've almost fallen asleep in yet this year! So many jets! And just the right temperature! All exceptionally clean as well! The view, the convenience, the kitchen, the heating, the blankets, maintenance and hospitality all put together with an attention to detail just not found at any corporate-run resort! This is the way to live,...

「Lovely small cabin tucked back on hill where you can see the tree tops. We were able to view an eagle on top of an old pine tree. Our contact was very brief with Sherri the owner but we felt very welcomed. The first thing we noticed a flower pot on a sitting area outdoors enough room for two to sit. Inside you are greeted by a bottle of wine and a nice chocolate bar. The cabin has a full kitchen with a variety of utensil. We were introduced to a gas toilet. A nice large shower. All...

「What an adorable property! Pictures do it justice. Clean, comfy, and charming. Close to golf and the must-see Goodsell Ridge Preserve (especially if you’re a dorky geologist like me…but also great for hiking). We’d definitely stay there again. Only (minor) drawback is that the water pump and hot water heater aren’t exactly quiet…but the clatter is temporary). Also, wanted to sign your guestbook but didn’t have a pen and couldn’t find one. 」
