We love the historic look of the Balsam mountain Inn, we learned that it changed ownership a few years back and the new owners are looking to preserve the classic look that appeals to everyone so much. “The whole stay was splendid. Paul is a wonderful host, a phenomenal cook, and a kind person. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the shower was a huge bonus to me. I love a piping hot shower, and detachable faucet so that I don’t have to get my hair wet or humid. Hardly any place has that! Our room did! The house has an interesting history, and I love the fragrance as you walk in. Like years of good breakfasts with bacon and coffee, nice furniture polish and books. It will be our go-to place……

“The home was clean and beautiful just as was shown in pics. It was equipped with everything we needed! It was spacious and the game room was so fun! We enjoyed the pool table and dart games. We also enjoyed the fire pit and store supplies! It was a wonderful space for our family with plenty of space, 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, 2 living spaces, a large deck…. It was perfect!”
