「The place was gorgeous and had a lovely cosy feel. Comfortable bed and great amenities. Unfortunately the walls were so thin that we could hear everything the couple next door to us were saying and doing. The staff helped in every way they could which was lovely but unfortunately made things a bit uncomfortable. The only other issue is when you use the bathroom at night, the light lights up the entire bedroom as well. Otherwise fantastic place.」

「I would never go there again owner was staying vin room behind my room thin walls and ironing board was leaning against our wall and it got knocked by movement on the access door adjoining room 2 as we were placed in room 1 . Owner prince stated that our cabin was not ready so we up graded. Feeling uneasy about the situation we the owner prince was sitting on his lap top in the next room to us 」

「We loved our time at this property - just what we needed! A beautiful view, quiet surrounds and very close to lots do do in the area. All we needed was provided and it was a wonderful winter weekend to sit in front of the fire and relax. A beautiful spot and Heather was a wonderful host. We hope to be back!」

「The layout and furnishings are basic and definitely not worth $229/night. The hot water ran out after 5 minutes, so that was pooh. Of the dozens of BNB stays, this was the only one that we felt ripped off by and think a $100 should be refunded. 😠」

We stayed as 2 adults, 2 kids and our dog and the place was a great size with an even better backyard including chicken coop that the kids adored. Genevieve was lovely and courteous to our needs and was very understanding, lots of lovely touches to the place - nothing was a problem. We would definitely stay again!」

「The motel rooms on the ground floor were sufficiently shield by the hotel building so we heard no traffic noise. The beds were comfortuable and we slept well. It has a microwave, toaster and fridge with the makings for breakfast at hand. One minor downside is that there is no formal office. So. you need to call someone to check-in to your room. Similarly on checkout, you just leave the keys in your room and shut the door.」

「Lovely property, renovated (but not "restored") to high standard but modern electricals (great wifi, TV) and kitchen/baths. Spacious home, multiple eating areas, quiet street, and with a terrific host. Maldon is a charming small town and well-located to see the goldfields area. Only downside is there are only a couple of places in the town proper to dine out (Castlemaine is close). But a great place with all creature comforts.」

「Property was excellent in all areas that mattered to us as seniors. Clean comfort facilities and appliances accessible and access to management when necessary. The township and people were lovely, freely sharing information and knowledge. Weather on this occasion was perfect. Our only criticism is really one for council and authorities to improve. We found general road signage to be less than satisfactory when trying to follow maps and attractions brochures. Attractions need a lot more...
