We enjoyed our Thanksgiving retreat at the Log house! The house and game room all had more than we expected! Everything was stocked and the stocked coffee bar was an added bonus. We felt very welcomed here and enjoyed the trees, nature and peacefulness of the property. We enjoyed the hot tub and all the extra fun stuff. There is a game room and also puzzles and games. It feels like you are staying a friends house that thought of everything. It definitely has a cabin feel, which is something we LOVE! We would stay again! We were a family of two grandparents, 2 adult children, 1 teen and 1 10 year old. We also had a 6 month old grand with us. Oh ya, and an Aussie who had the best time ever. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had anything you might need or want to use.
We went to enchanted rock 2x and also enjoyed many trips to the main strip shopping and eating.
We played games on Netflix

Potential...yet did not work for us

On arrival the property was dirty from the previous occupant (wet towels on floor/sheets turned down), though we were able to contact the property manager who immediately located a comparable property for us to stay. We were greeted at the alternate property and gifted $100 with wine/snacks for our trouble. We were only staying for two nights and the following day, we're able to move to the property before noon only to find the pool table/bunkhouse room was locked. It was an unfortunate occurrence given the pool table was one of the reasons for choosing this property. Again, the property manager was extremely responsive but to get access to open the lock required some time. We were finally able to enter the bunkhouse around 4:30 in the afternoon then to find the pool cues were all unusable. Once again, the property manager quickly "pooled" through and brought new cue sticks within the hour. Upon settling in to enjoy the bunkhouse, we then realized we were unable to access the Monday NFL game and gave up on the bunkhouse to return to the main house. It was one unfortunate occurrence after the other. Many of the sheets as well as the towels were stained. The property would be great for a large family retreat but did not work for us. The owners were completely unresponsive.
