A Delightful Stay
Enjoyed the house. A quiet getaway was perfect. There were some things that need change. The toilet doesn’t have enough water pressure to flush. The kitchen needs more kitchen ware. All in all the house was spectacular.

Anniversary
My wife and I loved the location of the cabin. We had searched for cabins specifically with a hot tub for a much needed getaway. Our first night there, the power went out (not ya'll fault) so our plans for that evening did not go well. Also, we could not use the hot tub during our stay because the temperature buttons wouldn't adjust. It was what we had been looking forward to. The microwave did not work. We started it but it immediately sparked so we had to unplug it. There were dead bugs on the floor. The kitchen counters were not clean and had crumbs on it. Our first night there, we couldn't use the restroom sink bc it was clogged and water did not go down. We had to use tub or kitchen faucet to wash up (inconvenient). Also, the toilet was difficult to flush. We called everyday to inform ya'll since it was the right thing to do. We did enjoy our stay but for the price we paid, we were a bit disappointed. We are not ones to speak negative about our experiences but we wanted to address these issues for ya'll to be aware. Thanks again. Be blessed.

Great Getaway

Cute getaway spot
My fiancee and I loved this little house. It was fat enough away from town to enjoy the peace and quiet but close enough to walk around Fredericksburg and see all the shops. Loved everything about the house! The decor was cute, the setup was perfect and who doesn't love a hot tub? Have already recommended this stay to friends who plan on visiting the area.

Anniversary getaway
Wow, we so enjoyed our time at this place, it really is perfect for couples! The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was comfortable, and the rolling TV was a cute touch! The hot tub had a great ambiance around it with the lights and the privacy and we used it every night we were there! A couple of negatives I would say it had was the door locks could use some upgrading, the large window above the carport letting a lot of light in during the morning, and being able to hear every car that passes on the highway nearby when you sit on the front porch. Overall, the property really was good and met the secluded feel we were looking for during our getaway. Looking forward to our next trip to Fredericksburg!!

What a wonderful place to get away! The cottage was clean & cozy when we arrived and the hot tub was heated up & ready to go. The rustic elegance of it all is perfectly done. I highly recommend the Honey Hill Wild Rose cottage and Absolute Charm!

Loved it !! The only thing was the jacuzzi bathtub the jets didn’t work . Did not call and complain about it didn’t want to be interrupted . but I do wish they were working . it would’ve been perfect exactly what we wanted.

Good stay
Easy check in. Easy check out. Property was clean for the most part. (Wine glass being the only thing we found wrong) Quiet property. The highway is maybe 60 yards away. Though you can’t see it you can hear every vehicle that passes. Neighbors in other cabins are your only concern and luckily the ones we had were quiet. We did find a wine glass that had lipstick on it still. Thankfully we always wash our dishes before we use them anyways. The bed is a good mix of soft and hard. Only problem is there is a sun window near the roof directly across from the bed. So even though I wanted to sleep in while on vacation I was woken up at sun rise every morning cause there is nothing blocking that window and you have the sun directly shining on you. The bath tub is really nice. The jets have been disabled keep that in mind. We used it every night we stayed though. The tv is on a roller so we rolled the tv out and hung out in the bath and watched tv. The shower is small. The shower head is kind of annoying cause every stream is so spread out that you don’t really have water pressure so you have to stand there for awhile to rinse off. Really need to change it to one that changes. Security wise I hated the back door. The only lock on the back door was one of those small latches. If I wanted to I could easily kick in the back door and break that lock. Thankfully nobody did that to us haha but it was a concern of mine. Other than that I had no other complaints. Some people might call it nitpicking but those were my only concerns.

So relaxing and lovely place
We had a great time just relaxing and spending time alone. The location was superb and the facility was just as advertised and the hot tub was just a great treat (even in this heat) and we had the opportunity to just recharge. Thank you for the opportunity and we'll for sure be back. Thank you!

Christmas in Fredericksburg Tx
The cabin was exactly what we wanted...we were able to stream movies or watch Directv. Main St. Fredericksburg was just about 10-15 minutes drive so we went there everyday. The hot tub at the cabin was relaxing. & seculuded in the evenings and enjoyed looking at the stars. The only disappointment I had was my husband had researched the most Christmassy towns and Fredericksburg was one and it really is that's why we could not believe when we arrived to the cabin there was not a single Christmas decor or Christmas tree inside hence our disappointment for a Christmas vacation. I would say we enjoyed the cabin enough to go back in the future.

Peaceful Cabin
Very peaceful nice little cabin! Only issue was very dusty ran to Walmart and bought a duster and cleand it up. Overall not bad.

Very cute and cozy. Lost out on using the hot tub the first night because we didn’t know how to get it off sleep mode They didn’t advertise it had a jacuzzi tub which it did but it didn’t work But I would stay again

Hi, Michael! Honey Hill is not advertised as having a jetted tub because the owner has had the mechanics for it removed. Our rates and advertising have been adjusted to reflect the absence of that amenity. We are glad you enjoyed your stay!

Perfect mini moon spot!
We got married October 30 and came down on the 31st. The property was exactly what we wanted and didn’t disappoint. Hot tub was amazing but one thing that we loved was having all the tv streaming options to watch like Netflix, YouTube tv etc. you don’t get that in most places and that made it even better! We will 100% be coming back!!

The cabin could use a good cleaning
The cabin is lovely. The location is great. The cabin, though, could use a good cleaning. The bathroom sink was clogged with hair, the ceiling vents were brown, the floor needed a good mopping. Everything else was great!

Vacation
First vacation in nearly 4 years. We are both retired since 2018 and have never been able to fit a few days in due to building our home, moving and spending time with grandkids. Picked the Wild Rose out of the blue and very happy we did. Very nice cabin for 2. Everything just as it is stated. There are two other cabins on the property but with the trees that surround the Rose, it seems very secluded, Not fans of the antique straight back chair in the living room. Not too comfortable. But overall we gave it 5 stars for ease of reservation, location and it was as advertised. We certainly have no qualms about recommending the Wild Rose

A nice weekend in a "once was" cabin
We had a very lovely stay for two nights in the Wild Rose cabin, but it could have been better. It is apparent that at one time the cabin was incredibly well kept and ultra cozy, but has started to fall apart a bit. Nothing stay-breaking, but minor odds and ends that could have made our stay that more pleasant.

Peaceful weekend
We had a very relaxing weekend here! We loved the cabin and enjoyed the hot tub every night. Things that made us giggle: There are about a million switches and it took us a minute to figure out how to turn on the lights we wanted on. The bathtub is a little anticlimactic because there's not really enough hot water to fill it, the overflow is very low so you couldn't fill it anyway, and it apparently doesn't "whirl" anymore. We just went out to the hot tub instead, so it was just humorous to us...but if you're coming for a good long soak in the tub, you might be disappointed. ;) Things that refreshed our souls: Sitting on the porch every night staring at the stars was mesmerizing. The moon even showed off for us on our trip in all her glory. There is some road noise from 290, but it isn't enough to break the mood. Inside the cabin feels completely isolated and a million miles from the "real world." The hot tub area is private and peaceful...except for the occasional deer passing by. The full kitchen allowed us to grab some "easy meals" from HEB on the night we were tired of crowds and town and just wanted a slow quiet meal on our own. There are two other cabins nearby, but we didn't hear so much as a whisper from another human the whole weekend. We left rested and refreshed! Would highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Hot tub was dirty with gravel all in the bottom. The lid on the hot tub was moldy and slimy and every time you lifted it stuff would fall in. The cabin itself was cute and nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and pillows. The jet tub didn’t work. The property manager said it’s not advertised as working, but in the pictures it is working. Overall it was an okay cabin.

Wonderful anniversary trip!
This cabin was a delightful spot for our anniversary getaway! Yes, there are cabins nearby, but the tree coverage provided privacy and no one can see the hot tub at all! The cabin is very clean, such cute decor, and very worth the cost. I would recommend this cabin for anyone visiting Fredericksburg or the Hill Country!

Hail of a trip!
We had a great time but were hit by hail storms on consecutive days. Was really glad to have the carport on the property the day it hailed so much that it looked like snow on the ground. Overall it was a great stay. Loved the layout and lighting. Only complaint would be that someone didn't follow directions on draining the jets in the tub after using it, so when we used it, the water smelled really bad.

weekend away
we wanted a place to be that was away from everything. the house-and property-were darling and very very clean. we had everything that we needed to have a quiet weekend away. only complaint..i understood that there were other rentals on this property..i do not feel that we were made aware of just how close the other rentals would be to ours. while we didn't feel exposed in any way, it was disappointing that they were that close. lovely having the hummingbirds, the deer and the puppers to hang out with on the excellent front porch.
