Great Stay
This beach house was far and away better than the one we stayed at last year. It was very clean, nicely decorated with the beach a minute walk down the street. We'll be repeating at this place if it's available for rental the next time we come down.

Cozy and beautiful
We loved our stay here! It was very clean and updated. Just a few steps from the beach without having to have us and the kids cross the road. Would definitely stay here again!

Tranquil and nice
So close to the beach, Walker easily and could see and hear the ocean from the great deck. Had everything we needed and it was walking distance to a local shop (Surfside Loco) for beer, wine, trinkets, beach stuff, bathing suits, towels, and fresh, organic, free range eggs. My only complaint isn’t about the house but that the beach is drive-on and it’s not just a drive on and park thing, people legitimately drive up and down and it’s kinda dangerous but people like it, I guess lol. It’s just not for me and there is a pedestrian beach just west of the main road into town. It’s not a dealbreaker just letting other parents know. We really enjoyed ourselves and had plenty of the necessities (shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels, detergent, trash bags - there was even coffee, tea, and bottled water for us). We had no complaints - the house was spotless and had awesome beds and pillows! I was very cozy at night.

Electrical Glitches
The property was beautiful and so clean. Proximity to the beach was great. We had great beach weather. However, the electric was a mess. The microwave didn't heat, the coffee pot didn't work. When we used the cook top the electric upstairs had a decrease in power. When I used my blow dryer the lights in the master bath dimmed. I would stay here again if the electric got fixed.

Just an OK stay
Nice place. Very well appointed. Microwave didn’t work - wouldn’t get anything hot. Lights/electrical would flicker and “brown” out.

We didn't want to leave!
The house, the location, the communication with Vacasa was perfect! We extended our stay a night because we didn't want to leave. When I needed to get in touch with Vacasa, it took less than two minutes for my problem to be solved. I would definitely recommend this place and DEFINITELY stay here again!

Grandsons 10th birthday celebration
Everything was great! Only negative comment was one of the upstairs bathroom doors would not stay shut and floors felt dirty but they could be just the way it is being that close to the beach. Was happy all toiletries and bath towels came with the house and loved the use of the washer and dryer!! Big plus!!!!!

Really close to the beach.
We loved that is 2 minutes walking distance from the beach. Very clean house and everything we needed was there. Definitely booking this property again, totally recommend it.

Great with a few things
The house was clean and had everything we needed. We really have no major complaints and are pleased with our stay. The down stairs toilet shoots water out of the bowl when someone flushes the upstairs toilet. So, avoided using the downstairs toilet if at all possible. We also had a cockroach visit the living room on our last evening. However, that was the only one we saw.

Spring break
We had a great time at Surf Side Beach. Sea Salt was the perfect size for our family and had all the necessary things we needed for a comfortable stay. It was our first time staying at this location and had no clue to how small Surf Side was as a beach village. Would have been helpful to have known that groceries was 15+ minutes away and to plan accordingly. All in all, we were looking for peace and relaxation and that is what we found.

Wonderful!
We had a blast swimming, fishing, sunning, sandcastling, and relaxing. The beach is accessible via a short walk down the small street in front of the home. Bring your own drinking water. The faucet water is fine for cooking and bathing, but you'll need bottled. Water for drinking. We loved the place!

Perfect weekend getaway
We drove from DFW and this was the perfect getaway. Surfside is the perfect quiet beach town. We had direct access to the beach and our kids loved it! Short drive to Galveston or Lake Jackson. Everything you need is within 10 minutes away! Will be visiting again!

Wonderful Experience! Beautiful property! Perfect for a getaway & perfect for pets!
The house was beautifully renovated & had so many perfect little touches around the house. Especially if you have pets, this place is great. They provided a water bowl to have at the house or take to the beach, as well as dog waste bags. It was very thoughtful! The house is in the perfect location, only about a 5 min walk to the beach, or a 2 min drive to the beach access road. Close vicinity to lots of stores and restaurants. I can’t recommend the Beachfront Deck Bar and Grill enough! Overall 10/10. This place was great!

Cute little house close to beach!
The pictures posted for this house are not updated! The house has been redone completely and is just adorable! My family and I stayed for a week and enjoyed our time a lot. There was room for all teens in the bunk room and the mattress in the main bedroom was comfy! Lots of towels and all the toiletries and toilet paper helped to make the stay easy! The location to the beach is perfect! Easy and quick walk even with hands full. The last day we drove up the beach to be more secluded as the weekends do get busy but the weekdays were perfect! Combined with day trips to Galveston and the week was so relaxing. Only recommendations… new pots and pans with new serving utensils would be good. Also extra pillows for all beds would have been great. As we flew in from out of state, having access or beach chairs would have been amazing. My kids would have loved the toys in the bottom locker area. :)

Weekend beach getaway
Convenient location by the beach without having to cross any busy roads and nearby restaurants for takeout. Nice dinners on the deck and outside shower was a real plus.

Roaches
Roaches were inside the house, and the septic system appeared to be backed up leaving a horrendous stench when outside. After the second night of killing a roach, we decided to leave early. We can submit pictures upon request. Terrible stay.

Cannot recommend this house!
House is right next to a very busy road. There is traffic noise day and night. TV’s are antiquated and 2 do not work. Poor connection in the one that turns on. Absolutely no instructions on WiFi, operating, password , etc. Furniture is old and saggy. Uncomfortable to sit on. Very buggy..around the windows and floors. The tap water has a strange smell and is yellow. All in all, with the house being so close to such a busy road with so much traffic noise, I would not recommend nor ever stay here again!

Cute and comfy home
The house was very clean and well kept up. Love the cozy feeling and the decor. They had towels galore for us to use which was nice but we didn't use them all of course. It was nice that we were close to the beach and can hear the waves as long as cars were not passing by. That was the only down side, other than that we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!

Surfside Getaway
We had a nice time at this house. Everything was fairly clean, some dust bunnies & trash under the beds. There was cable TV, but the channel selection was minimal. The beds were comfortable & the toiletries a plus. The outside shower was perfect. We would most likely stay here again.
