“Amber was an excellent host, the property was clean and comfortable, we initially had an issue with the heating system due to the excessively cold weather, but this was swiftly resolved and we were soon warm and cosy!The cottage has a lovely view over Owasco lake, nice furnishings, comfortable beds and all the facilities needed for a pleasant stay. “Call ahead and make sure the hot tub is functioning and has clean water. Bring along some old sheets or window cling to cover the windows where the shades have been removed. Don’t plan on using the ceiling fan without the light being on, that cord is missing. If you are allergic to bathroom mold… don’t book. They said they replaced the Queen mattress after we left, but they also said the hot tub was up and running which it wasn’t at our cabin. I am sure it was a lovely place 5 years ago,……

The owner didn’t respond to our or the property management company’s many communications for two days so we had to stay at a run down hotel which was all we could get at 9:30 on a Friday night in the middle of nowhere A week later the owner still hadn’t responded or apologized for our family’s considerable inconvenience……
