A nice break

We had a lovely break and it all proved brilliant for the children. Our only criticism was our double bed. Not only was it small but extremely uncomfortable.

We didn’t have vehicle. The property is located about 1-2 km from closest pub/restaurant. No grocery store nearby. But bus is easily accessible, about 7 minute walk. Yarmouth is pretty and about 2 km away. If you are going for dinner there make reservations. There is not a sea side view, but water is close by. Swimming is tough at the beach (at least for us) due to high winds. Not sure what it is usually like. The place itself is cozy (ie small), wifi works well, and neighbor/caretaker is pleasant. The trail running/hiking is good as it is on the coastal path.

Good accommodation

Good accommodation. The dishwasher and washing machine need replacing, dishwasher is over 30 years old and washing machines bearings have gone. Clean accommodation a few bits missed but overall good. Couldn't use space outside of property for car during stay due to others parking. No coastal path or access to beach which needs to be updated on information..

Nice stay, with some confusion

Property is a chalet on a holiday park. Normally a short walk to the beach but unfortunately the steps from the site to the beach were damaged and so access to the beach was not possible during our stay (warning of this was communicated by the owner prior to our stay). Accomodation was good, though there were lots of cobwebs around the beds/wardrobe in the second bedroom and in the bathroom. There was some confusion between the trip booked on vrbo and the booking information sent prior to arrival. Booking information mentioned a damage Deposit payable to the lady next door, which is not required. Check out time listed as 11 o clock on vrbo booking, but immediately after 10 o clock on day of departure we were asked to leave so that the lady could start cleaning. It seems the information given to both the customer and the lady next door needs to be updated so that everyone is on the same page .

Looks like as in photos. Outdated utilities as someone already mentioned that in the comments Internet is not free TV only DVD player. There are few lod movie dvds to watch. Thanks to Dot who is maintaining this outdated house in good condition

Small but ok for 3 adults

A nice little property which would ideally suit 2 adults & 2 smaller children. It is in a nice location on Linstone Chine holiday village which used to be a holiday camp by the looks of it. Very quiet but it was out of season & busied up during half term week. The property has one double bedroom & a second bedroom with two single beds. Lounge/kitchen with some of the appliances dated but in working order. A launderette is on site but is pretty basic - the driers just heat the clothes up! It was an ok stay - thanks to Dot for the help!

From the advertisement, we thought we had booked a detached bungalow, so we were a little surprised to find the property on a holiday village. The signs indicating the whole area is Brambles Chine could have been more plentiful and clearer, so it took us a while to locate the property. However, that apart, the property was clean, well-equipped and exactly as advertised. Our contact was a lovely lady called Dot, who lived next door. She was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed. We only stayed for one night but our stay was comfortable, with everything we needed.

What a great location

A lovely little chalet that is only minutes from the beach and cliff tops (for beautiful sunsets). It's well equipped and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. If you want to do a decent food shop, you do have to travel a little so be prepared for that. All in all a lovely stay.

Great location & impeccably clean!

Such a nice treat to stay in an owner’s accommodation with their own personal touchs! Impeccably clean, a great size and with everything you need for a great stay. Ideal location for the beautiful beach, well revered restaurant The Hut (need to book) and the catch bus to needles park. Only £7.50 taxi to Yarmouth. All in all, fabulous 😊

Nice small property very close to the seaside and picturesque views. The property itself was very clean and everything was in working order. The whole property was small and bedrooms were smaller than originally thought! Overall it was a nice property for a short stay.

The whole process from start to finish was perfect and easy and although it was the wettest (bless the British weather) holiday I have ever been on the bungalow was lovely, well maintained and comfortable, the location was amazing. All in all an awesome experience and we are sure to be back.

3 day break, oh and a wedding.

Cosy, comfy chalet in a really quiet location ideal for walkers and cyclists. Dot and Eddie, the property carers are gems and live next door.

Home from home

Perfect place to stay lovely surroundings just a short walk from a nice beach. The property has everything you need and the host have gone above and beyond to make sure all your comfort are met supply all you could possibly think of in clean tidy place with plenty of aint bacteria products for a covid save stay We had a lovely time would come back 🙂👍

Fantastic views with a private beach!

We had a lovely stay at Brambles Chine. The accommodation was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essential crockery/cutlery. Also lots of tea, coffee and biscuits (loved by my children). There is lots of open space for children and the views of the Solent/Needles especially at sunset was magnificent. There is a pathway to the beach about 3 mins walk. Dot and Eddie are a lovely couple and so helpful. We would highly recommend the accommodation and the Isle of White as a holiday destination as there is so much to do and explore!
