This Inn is fantastic! The owners/staff are wonderful, the fresh hime made Breakfasts and snacks are delicious, the beds were very comfy and the setting in the quiet valley was spectacular! We can’t wait to return to this little slice of heaven here on earth!

Claudia is an amazing host!! She works so hard to bake breakfast and desserts from scratch for the guests to enjoy. There were always fruits available to snack on at all times which was nice. Everything was super clean!! Loved the quiet feel of the Trumpeter as it is about 10 min away from the chatter of the downtown Friday Harbor. Our favorite parts were feeding the goats and alpacas in the mornings and using the complimentary bikes to explore the island.

We had an amazing weekend here! Wonderful location, great rooms and amazing owner. The breakfast was really good and it was a great time to talk with the host and other guests. They also had some goats and alpacas we enjoyed feeding during some of our down time.

Trumpeter Inn is a real treat. Even though it is close to Friday Harbor, it is in a lovely bucolic setting, complete with alpacas! Breakfast was delicious and our hostess was charming. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect! The inn was so cute and only 5 minutes from Friday Harbour. The alpacas and sheep were a big plus! Would definitely stay here again!

In that beautiful, natural setting, we felt remote, yet we were just a few minutes outside of Friday Harbor. Our room was lovely, comfortable and well-appointed. The bedding and furniture were high quality--right down to the blinds that allowed in light and air while still providing privacy. They thought of every detail to keep us comfortable (bathrobes, fan, beverages, coffee/tea stand, etc.). Claudia's breakfast was wonderful with delicious healthy and comfort-food offerings. One of my favorite parts was feeding the goats and alpacas. What joy. We will be back.

Great little place to get away and enjoy serenity. Super cute and very clean. Claudia, (owner) was the chef in the AM for breakfast and everything was made fresh. She was super helpful with suggestions and was very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

This was a beautiful property about a mile and a half outside of town, so it was very peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, and plentiful. The room was clean and comfortable, and even had generous bathrobes too use. I would stay here again the next time I am on San Juan Island!

Everything was excellent and beyond the expectation. The room was super clean, the amenities were great and the host was so friendly and kind that we felt we were staying with a family member. For sure we will come back to this place.
