「Superb pub and rooms steeped in local history - Robert Plant started his career here playing blues guitar aged 15 in the upstairs blues club (sadly not there anymore but the history is palpable). The pub is a treasure trove of history, and so well preserved, from the original staircases and ceramic tiling on the walls, to the original bar. My room was just sheer excellence. 「Parking was easy and secure, staff friendly. Rooms basic and a little dated. but overall value for money. This is well run hotel, with good potential. Sadly the local area is clearly struggling, for once what was a busy bustling hight street is now a ghost town. 」

「Very friendly staff, easy location with enough parking. Very comfortable beds and shower. To get better i would like it if there where 2 chairs in the room in stead of 1, and there was no fridge. The room was clean and enough tea and coffee. There is a Tesco and Costa coffee and other places on walking distance.」
