“Overall, the stay was good. The room was clean and tidy. The front desk staff were friendly. Check-in and check-out were very smooth. The hotel's location is convenient. The only minor drawback is that parking costs extra. It would be ideal if free parking were available.”

“My husband booked this hotel because he thought it was cool that it was an older building and the rooms were only in the 2nd and 3rd floor above a bar & restaurant. The room looked cute- modern decor in an old building. I’m not a neat freak but I do inspect the room. We hadn’t touched the bed and right there under the decor pillow lay two long stands of hair that was clearly not either of ours. Yuck. In the shower, I found several pieces of hair. The sink didn’t look clean, either but I had……

“This hotel was very different than what i have ever stayed in. The room was small and reminded me of a college dorm room yet modern. The layout of the room was not well thought out either.”

“The Element is a great hotel for Reno. Their breakfast was amazing! The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The bar was fabulous as well. The hotel does a lot of little things for the guests which was appreciated such as a happy hour, water and coffee available anytime. The only draw back is the hotel is located on a busy street so it can be loud in the evening.”

“The room was clean and the inn was very peaceful and quiet, but there were problems with the furniture and a weird smell when me and my family entered the room. The water in the shower was taking a long time to drain, the mirror was cracked, there were stains on the curtains, and pieces of the table were chipped off. Breakfast was also plain and they did not have many options to choose from. ”

“Grounds were a mess. Old mattresses puled in the pool area, trash on the lawn and no accomodation for modern tech, ie no charging ports, bad lighting etc. Sheets were freshly washed but were dingy. If these were my sheets at home they would have been donated to a local animal shelter at this point. Due to high demand for rooms in Reno this weekend the nightly rate, $181, was well above what I would expect to pay for a room with minimal amenities, linens that should have been replaced long ago……
