The Tenuta Perano estate, owned by the renowned Frescobaldi family, is just a 15-minute walk away and features an Osteria for delicious meals accmpanied by local wine . For wine lovers the selection of wineries in this region is a dream, ranging from historic estates such as Castello di Brolio, Castello di Ama and Badia a Coltibuono to small boutique wineries. Castello di Brolio is reachable by car in only 25 minutes. The town of Gaiole in Chianti with its shops, good restaurants, supermarket and bike rentals is less than 3 km away. Siena, Arezzo, Florence and San Gimignano are also easily reached for day trips.
