「Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once.」

「This property was our favorite one on the trip. The beach was so close and the rooms nice and large. Having two bathrooms suited us perfectly and having a wash basin in each bedroom was incredibly convenient. Parking was right in front of the door. The kitchen even had sugar and some other items that we did not have to get. The traditional style was very homey. I would stay here again if in this area on a return visit.」

「Great place. Views are fantastic.Cottage was very comfortable, clean and good size for 5 of us. A little out of the way of Gairloch @17min drive but no big deal as we were travelling around the area each day. Recommended.」

「The pictures that accompany this listing do not begin to describe the stunning beauty of this place. The ocean and the surrounding mountains are breath-taking! 「We had a lovely stay in Opinan, near Gairloch. The house was clean, we had nice beds and we enjoyed the the bath. Extra's where the views over the bay, and the nearby beach. (water was a bit cold). a very nice place to stay. But specially for the first night, don't forget to bring your diner and breakfast, as the nearest shop is about a 20 minutes by car. We recommend a stay in this cottage on this special location.」

「The house was a cute, updated original farmhouse on Isle of Skye. Great spot surrounded by pastures of sheep and cattle. Good location to see all the sites. It worked great for my parents and my husband and me.」

「We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. 」

「We loved staying at Hughes Hideaway. Our favorite part was that there were little lambs/ sheep in the pasture next to the house for part of our stay. It also had really nice Mountain View’s as well as a little peekaboo sea view. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. It was away from the busyness, it was just a really charming spot to stay. We would definitely come back again.」
