Appartement op prachtige plek

Beetje gedateerd appartement met prima voorzieningen. Como, Milaan, Bergamo, Varenna bezocht, zijn met de auto goed te bereiken. Prachtige wandelingen in de buurt gemaakt. Zwembad en tennisbaan (beton) helemaal top.

First timers to lake Como

Great base for exploring the beautiful area. Car essential. Highlight was our train ride from Lecco to Varenna and walk up to the castle. Host Nicolla very responsive and helpful. Thanks very much for milk/biscuits/prosecco! Very comfortable king sized bed. Second bedroom very small with a single bed that extends to a double- not ideal for two teenagers to share. Shower room small with limited hot water but temperature outside was so hot it was fine. Kitchen facilities more basic than expected, no oven. Two hob cooker. Washing machine very helpful. No air-con upstairs. Air-con downstairs not very powerful and rather loud. TV sound quality poor. . Lovely view of Lecco from air-con garden. Very peaceful surroundings. Complex is very nicely kept, wonderful large heated swimming pool.

Vacances d’une semaine en famille. Un propriétaire très sympathique et disponible. Un logement simple où il ne manque rien. La résidence est parfaitement entretenue. La piscine est très agréable. Le lieu permet de visiter facilement la région.

Great stay!

Attentive host, Nicola, who was very helpful. Great communication before and during the stay. House is charming, rustic, clean and well-appointed. A few steep steps up to the front door, but great views of Lake Garlate from the garden. Stairs in the house and narrow and steep so caution for very young children. The main bedroom has a lovely terrace. The second bedroom just fits 2 single beds almost pushed together, so suitable for a couple or younger children. The pool area and play area were clean, spacious and well maintained and never too busy (we were there during the last week of July 2024). Pool and play area are only a 2 minute walk from the house. Parking is also a 2 minute walk away but up a hill (the area is generally quite hilly). The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle and 2 electric hobs. Lots of great places to visit nearby - Lecco, Bellagio, Menaggio, Bellano (the caves), Jungle Raider Park at Civenna, the beach at Onno (great for swimming in the Lake). We had a great stay at La Terrazze and would recommend it. Thank you, Nicola! there during the last week of July 2024)

Communicatie met Nicola was zeer goed. Heel vriendelijk persoon en altijd klaar om bij te staan waar moet. Locatie was top. Kinderen vonden het zwembad de Max. Super groot zwembad. Veel wandel gelegenheden. Een echte aanrader.

Beautiful view with great amenities.

Nic was a great friendly host. He made our stay very comfortable and was readily available if we needed anything. It was very relaxing to be able to sit down and look onto the lake. Wow! What a view. I will be sure to stay there if I ever find myself in that part of Italy again. Thank you Nic for the wonderful experience.

Great place to enjoy lake Como!

We had a lovely stay in this accommodation, the place was very clean, quiet and well equipped. The facilities (swimming pool, tennis, etc.) are simply great. Nicola was a super host, instructions for check-in/out were clear, and our questions were always answered fast. We would love to be back!

Relaxing and Swimming

The communal swimming pool which belongs to the enclosure of weekend homes and has a playground next to it was the main attraction for my kids - two of three learned swimming there. The Location is very nice, very rural, with a nice view on Lake Garlate but you need a car and need time to get to the nice areas of Lake Como. We had a little ant-problem at the end of our stay but we could sort it out with Nic very easily. Communication with him is very excellent and he's very fast to answer any of your questions. All in all - very recomendable!

Super Poolanlage + Tennisplätze, ruhige Lage

+Die Gemeinschaftsanlage ist sehr groß, toll und gepflegt + der Selbstcheckin war problemlos + der Vermieter hat auf Anfragen immer sofort geantwortet und ist sehr nett Die Anlage liegt sehr idyllisch und ruhig aber weit weg vom Comersee. Das Appartement ist sehr einfach eingerichtet.

Tolle Lage, tolle Anlage, wenn auch keine Luxusvilla

Die Beschreibung auf FeWo war etwas missverständlich. Es war ein normales Ferienhaus mit guter Ausstattung (aber kein Ofen, kein Wäschetrockner, kein Boot). Dafür war die Anlage mit Pool, Tennis und anderen Sportmöglichkeiten wirklich sehr gut. Nic hat sich wirklich gekümmert, war immer ansprechbar. Großes Lob! Wir würden wieder hinfahren.

Très bon séjour !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La résidence est magnifique (grande piscine peu fréquentée, tennis, basket...) et il n'y a quasiment que des italiens. La maison est agréable, calme, la vue très belle sur le Lac de Leco et Nic très serviable. Quelques (tous petits points) d'amélioration : quelques couverts et chaises supplémentaires ne seraient pas du luxe, et il faut préciser dans l'annonce qu'un des lits double est dans le salon (canapé lit). Sinon au top !

Great spot to explore Lake Como from

We had a lovely time at the resort and would definitely recommend a trip for families and couples alike. The pool is massive and the kids loved the basketball / tennis courts as additional distractions. Communication with Nic was very easy and he was always very responsive. The accommodation was perfect for a family of 4 and 2 youngish kids. The only downsides (and they weren’t a major problem) is that the apartment walls are quite thin and you could hear your neighbours (and viceversa I assume), equally a slightly more upmarket BBQ wouldn’t go a miss. That said I would happily return.

Depaysement

Nous rentrons de 15j à Galbiate. La résidence est très bien aménagée et idéale pour une famille. (piscine surveillée, terrains de tennis, ping-pong, baby foot, terrain de pétanque) tout est prévu. La seule difficulté si nous devions en trouver une serait l accès le 1er jour mais nos repères ont été très vite trouvés. Je recommande cette location proche de Lecco, Côme, Milan et Varenna (gros coup de cœur)

Extraordinary place

The residence is a unique place surrounded by nature with a magnificent view on the lake. It is terrific for whole days around the swimming pool and the sport facilities, and also for trips to Milan, Bergamo, etc. We had peace and fun. Contact with the owner was excellent: pragmatic and friendly. We enjoyed the house, which has good facilities for a holiday.

Kids paradise with free views

We had a lovely stay at Le Terrazze. The house is quite basic (cooking for 4 was a bit of a challenge) but the property is perfect and well maintained. Our kids (8 and 12) had a fantastic time in the awesome pool, and so did we. Kudos to owner Nic who was very helpful and provided us with many tips and things to do in the neighbourhood. Highly recommended. Don't forget to bring your walking boots!

If it's views you're after, look no further...

We spent two very happy weeks here - 2 adults and 2 kids aged 4 and 5. The view from the house is stunning, overlooking the Lecco end of Lake Como. The pool (just 2 mins from property) is immaculate and again has amazing mountainous vistas. The house is basic although has everything you need and a great shower. It was a bit hot at night (though we were there when it was unusually hot for this part of Italy), however the provided fans kept us comfortable enough. Nic was a charming and attentive host and we were lucky enough to have his daughter's beautiful cello music to accompany our evening aperitifs looking out over the lake. The wee nearest town, Galbiate, is just a short drive away and has a lovely bakery/cafe and the AMAZING Bellagio and Colico (neither to be missed) are only 40 mins drive away. This is a holiday we will not forget - is there a friendlier place than Italy? I think not.
