Enjoying a Small Town

We enjoyed shopping in downtown Galena, enjoyed the history of the town. And traveled in the area enjoying several wineries and breweries. We had a great time.

Lovely home!

The home was just as advertised. We had a great stay. The bed was comfortable, home immaculate, and tastefully decorated. Communication with the owner was good. We hope to stay again.

We were seeking a quiet, relaxing weekend in a beautiful setting, and that is exactly what we got! Small tech issue when we didn't receive instructions on entering property, but phone call answered immediately and assistance was given. Definitely somewhere we will go back to!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed Friday until Friday in mid-September. Surrounding units were about 25% occupied. Beautiful area, roads are twisty and very hilly. Lots of stairs, including inside the unit. The unit was clean and well-equipped for active adults, not more than 4 people. Not a magical experience, but quite functional.
