Find ease, serenity, and relaxation at Sundance Splash, a Galveston beach house that's beautifully positioned to overlook the coastal wetlands. Your days will be full of fun in the sun, whether you choose to walk along the beach, cool off in the private outdoor pool, or have a family picnic on the shaded deck or ground-floor patio. This home offers comfortable sleeping arrangements and a great amount of seating for the whole family in the living and dining areas, while an open, full kitchen creates the scene for entertaining and culinary magic. Free WiFi accommodates all for added convenience.

Take a short half-mile drive over to the beach to spend the morning sunbathing and swimming in the Gulf of Mexico. If you drive 12 miles northeast, the whole family can have a fantastic time exploring Moody Gardens or racing down the waterslides at the Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark. You'll also be just four miles southwest of Galveston Island State Park and 14 miles southeast of the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We love this property and the pool is money after a hot day at the beach! Plenty of space for eating and sleeping comfortably- great bed quality and lots of pillows! Two full bathrooms with lots of towels. Washer and dryer perfectly placed. Kitchen had all the cooking equipment needed and more! And did we mention the pool?! Deep and refreshing - picnic table and lots of deck chairs. Secluded backyard - 1/2 mile from beach access. Would book again in a heartbeat!

The cameras made it hard to be “at ease”. Just the thought of being watched bothered us more than we thought it would. The pool was great! Wish we could’ve used the master balcony. It stays locked. Otherwise perfect place to bring the family.

Pros: Outskirts of Galveston. Very peaceful and secluded. Clean property. Pool time (don't mind the Texas-sized mosquitos). Cons: Woke up one morning to pool guy in the backyard with no notice.

The place is very nice, clean, and cozy. The beach is not so far. Just three blocks away from the house. The only negative thing is the swimming pool, it is dirty and looks old and stained also we found a lot of frogs inside the pool.

Pool needed cleaning! Due to the rain is what we thought! Pool man came he said he comes on Tuesday or Wednesday! And pool was bad! We were not able to use it until later later in the day! Then yard man came! Grass clippings in the pool!!! My yard man comes early in the morning at my house I am sure scheduling can be done between 10 and 4 before and after guests can leave and arrive.. after grass was cut mosquitoes were crazy! Spider webs in corner of dining room! Our family would love to stay again once these issues are resolved!

I booked this house for a family getaway after a year+ of no travel due to COVID. We booked several months in advance with the thought of getting a house with a private pool so we could avoid crowds. This turned out to be a great spot. Jamaica Beach area is definitely away from the chaos of the Sea Wall area of Galveston. The cleanliness of the place was about what I expected during peak travel season and being booked solid though the month. The trash situation could be better. The cans are stored under the picnic area, so the smell is less than desirable. There are also security cameras there, which they do tell you about in advance, but we got a call about the owner seeing some things on the camera they were concerned about (movement of some pillars and an extra guest), which the management company handles. The gentleman I spoke with was very pleasant and nice, but the idea of someone randomly peeking in on us is kinda creepy. The place says it sleeps 8, which we had 9 (8 adults and 1 infant). The last of the negative I'd say is the bugs and birds. The mosquitos are something fierce and there are some sort of biting fly that comes around. They don't play around. The birds are to be expected at the beach, but it's pretty nuts how many there are. Don't wash your car before you come. (not property's fault, of course) Now the good. The pool is fantastic. This is why we booked the place and it did not disappoint. It's only about 5.5 feet, so it was great for our 4 year old. We lounged most of the time in the pool. Overall it was very clean. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was accommodating enough for us to cook most of our meals. I brought a Blackstone flattop griddle that was perfect for cooking for 7 adults, a toddler and an infant. The neighborhood seemed very friendly and we rented some golf carts from a third party that dropped off and picked up so we could cruise to the beach and just ride around a bit. The kids loved that. Overall a very nice stay. I'd do it again and now that I know some of the pitfalls would prepare a bit differently. If you're wanting to be close to tourist stuff and Sea Wall action, this is not the place. It's a good 20-25 minutes from anything Sea Wall related, which is what we were looking for. There was a really good local restaurant we ordered pizza from the 1st night that had a diverse menu. But, if you're waning a bunch of dining options, stay closer to the Sea Wall. If you want seclusion, this is the place.

We loved everything about this property! Our only “complaint” would be the mosquitos and horse flies, which obviously are not the owners’ fault. We got spray to combat the mosquitoes and had an absolute blast in the pool and loved the close proximity of the beach. Absolutely recommend and we hope to make this a yearly trip. :)

This was a quick getaway stay for us since we can't really travel due to COVID-19. This was a great property, cozy like home, and very clean! Close to other homes but still had lots of privacy. There were a total of 6 cameras for surveillance, which made us feel very safe. My family really enjoyed the pool, although I would recommend taking a hammock, pool toys/floats and mosquito spray. Mosquitos were really bad due to standing water in the adjacent lots on both sides, but this had nothing to do with this home. Everything else was provided for short stays: clean sheets, towels, pots, pans, utensils, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and both laundry & dishwasher detergent. We LOVED this home very much and planning to book more stays in the near future.

My husband and I were joined by our son, daughter-in-law and 7 year old grandson and 4 year old granddaughter. We loved having our own private pool! The property was clean and well maintained inside and out. We were only fifteen minutes from Galveston, and five minutes from the beach. I look forward to staying here again.

Great location , quite and tucked away from any other houses. We loved the pool!! Would give it 5 stars but of the following concerns. The only negatives were: 1. The house needs a good cleaning- lots of dust and the AC returns and vents were filthy and packed with lint. I saw that it hadn’t been a month since the AC vent was change, but it was dirty as well. 2. Last night there, we had a flying insect Infestation occur. Looked like termites or Mayflies. In the morning, they were gone. 3. Not enough laundry pods and or dishwasher detergent. The house only provides 2 each of these.
