Wonderful Easter Weekend 25

We had a wonderful stay and they were in communication with us and anything we needed. We had a kitchen sink clog and they had someone come the same day to repair. Great home and very close to the beach.

Anniversary Get Away

Pointe West beach trip

We were extremely happy with this rental! The property was exceptionally clean, everything was as described, the host was so helpful and easy to communicate with, and we loved the super short walk to the beach. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great place to spend a weekend.

Wonderful home close to the beach!

This was the perfect home for our family of 5! It was located in a cute cul-de-sac only a short walk away from the beach. Very clean accommodations, property manager was very accessible with a question we had, and we couldn't have had a better experience. Quiet and family friendly beach.

Spring break on the Gulf

I couldn’t recommend this property more highly! Morning walks on the beach, shell collecting, seafood dinners, comfy afternoons on the couch ❤️. Don’t hesitate! This is your best choice for a Galveston vacation!

Cleanest VRBO of all time

Please please please tell your cleaning crew they absolutely knock it out of the park!! It's far and beyond the cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed at, and we have traveled quite a bit. Location is perfect, easy walk to the beach and a quick car ride to the club pools. This has to be one of best equipped VRBO's we've been to as well. Just absolutely perfect, thank you a million!!

Short getaway

Property was exactly like the pictures. Very cozy and nice! House was very well cleaned when we arrived and the check in process was super easy. Property manager even left the down stairs lights on for us which was nice since we were checking in after sunset. Have stayed at multiple Pointe West properties and this was our favorite!

Everything and more

Check in and check out were so easy. No sweeping floors, starting laundry, or hauling out trash, though we did pick up after ourselves. Beach was easily within a 5 minute walk down a private boardwalk. It was quiet and beautiful. Great, relaxing place to stay.

Great quiet and relaxing location

Had a great trip with my mother and two dogs. Hosts checked in on us vis text multiple times to make sure we didn’t need anything. The home is well stocked and comfy. The location of the house is close to the beach with a short walk over the bridge. I love this neighborhood. No cars on the beach in this area makes it more of a chill vibe perfect for walking at sunset.

This property was so clean and nice! Loved it! Two second walk to beach boardwalk but that boardwalk to the beach was long! Completely private and clean beach. Was a little disappointed in cleanliness of pointe west - seemed very run down! We would definitely rent this property again and not use the pointe west amenities!

Family Vacation

This was such a cottage cute, well laid out floor plan. It really seemed much bigger than just over 1200 sq ft. Decorated lovely and very comfortably for a relaxing worry free week. Owners provided ALL the essentials for the entire week instead of the usual 1 or 2 days worth. Very quick response to any questions we had while there. Our FAVORITE place so far. 1 tiny suggestion, the knives are all very dull, perhaps sharpening or at least 1 good paring knife?

Misleading

Overall we had a nice stay, but there are several things I found misleading about the listing. Pros: location, home was fine, beach was private, clean and beautiful. Cons: most of the amenities were unavailable. The listing really highlighted having a restaurant on site, a game room, a gym and two pools. The pools were open and great especially the heated one. But the restaurant, game room and fitness center along with the bathrooms for the non-heated pool we're all under construction. There was a warning on the listing stating that these amenities opened at the beginning of March, which is when we traveled, and that if they were unavailable the management company would inform us as soon as possible. When we arrived it was very obvious that these amenities had been shut down for quite a long time. The restaurant is set to open in a few weeks we actually spoke with the new owner and they seemed very frustrated at the fact that there were still property Management companies out there advertising that there was a restaurant available and all these other amenities on site when they were obviously not operational. I did speak directly with the property manager, she promised a discount due to the misleading posting but that never came through and I didn't hear back from her. There was also no propane grill on site until we complained. Point West as a community is beautiful and we would definitely return, but I would never rent from this property management company again.

Professional and nice

Everything was great and I noticed they go above and beyond for their guests comfort and necessities. Plenty of towels and linens and all the basics. Nice comfortable beds and furniture and beach is about 100 or so yards away. My only two issues I had was no TV for one of the guest rooms and the TV in the master was a little small but other than that was good the other is its quite a drive to town or to where anything is and slow going there but those, especially the last, I can't fault the renter with since their description was accurate so it's good to know the area before renting for what you may need. Very nice area, beach, and neighborhood! Great house great service definitely over-all! One other thing I wanted to mention is the pricing as well how it was done. I looked for days for a rental to suit what we wanted and needed and many of them until you book you won't know the full price and was quite misleading at times. With this one the fees are reasonable and the price you see on the front or the initial ad is pretty accurate. Some of them were more than a thousand over the "rental price" with the booking, cleaning, and taxes if there weren't other fees accessed but there's was very reasonable imo. It also helped a lot to download the vrbo app and I highly recommend that unless you want to spend days with misleading prices and lower quality homes. Again, great experience and no true complaints at all!
