“We had a very nice and relaxing stay at this location. You're pretty secluded, but not too far from town if needed. The location is peaceful and great for fishing. The house was clean and perfect for our 3 night stay. I would recommend this home to unplug and unwind.”

“What a great property. Our family had a blast in the lake, fishing, watching movies and in the game room. We loved the lodge and the area it provided 40 of us to hang out. We had a couple of small requests while were there and were so impressed with the quick communication and responses. Can't wait to come again!”

“Property was set up beautifully along the water. We saw a dolphin while fishing. All items were there for a great experience. Would recommend this to anyone. Only downside is distance away from stores if needed. But the owner clearly informs you of this prior to your stay.”

“We have never used a VRBO before. The past 12 years we were in a motorhome. This house was charming and had everything we needed. Good restaurants and for me- fishing. Weather was good. We definitely will be back again. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your vacation home.”

“I was very surprised at the beauty of this beachhouse and the fact that we could have our dogs with us as well as extended family. There was so much thoughtfulness...everything from plenty of dishes and pots/pans to scissors in the drawer which we used numerous times. The nightlights were a great help so we didn't trip during the night. We appreciated the TV/cable. There were just so many thoughtful touches that it would take a book to write about...even soap and shampoo & conditioner in the……

My mother passed away on Monday morning and we decided to still go to Palacios and celebrate her. I will definitely be staying here again. The property was fully furnished. Plenty of towels, kitchen essentials and games for the kids. Not to mention the cable was a plus.”

“The private pier was awesome, we used it mostly for fishing but it was also nice for just relaxing. We caught trout, catfish, and alligator gar. A very quiet and friendly neighborhood. We hope to return. Hosts were very nice to work with.”
