"Not to miss sunsets and sunrises in the valley that you only find when camping here! And being a dark sky park allows the stars to dazzle you at night. Great accommodations and location. The staff is super nice. Only downside is how close the tents are. We came on a holiday weekend and the place was full. Lots and lots of kids running screaming, which made it not so restful for us quiet types. But all of the views made up for the bad people experience."

"This is the perfect little cabin for two or a small family. Lots of fun activities provided (games, firepit, movies) and great seating areas out back near the rushing Colorado creek. Comfortable bedroom and bathroom and a well stocked kitchen. Hosts were easy to reach with questions and quick to respond. Will definitely stay here again!"

"So much bigger than I actually thought. Had everything I needed to make tacos! Super cute area. Only on the listing it says check in is at 3pm and check out is 11am but it’s actually check in 3:30pm and check out at 10:30am. No big deal, realized too late so I just went straight to the dunes instead of checking in first. Pup and I had a great time and will be recommending this place to our followers ☺️"

"Over we had a great experience! Bathrooms were incredibly clean! You must be okay with dogs occasionally barking, one of the owners dogs even came into our yurt but he was super friendly! Super close to the sand dunes and zapata falls! The yurt was closer to the house and camper than I thought but definitely a safe area! We took a walk around the subdivision and it was super nice with pretty views! The host is very on top of things and communicates well! I would stay again!!!"

"This is the second time we have stayed here and once again, it was great. This property very well appointed and well maintained. It is a short walk to Main St. La Veta, which is very nice. "This property was located about 45 minutes from The Great Sand Dunes NP visitor center. The home was very private, clean and well provisioned. Our favorite spot was the deck off of the loft which had a wonderful view of the mountains as well as the sunrise. The wrap around deck also had a great view where you could watch the sun set. There were many extras that added to the uniqueness of the rental. We would highly recommend it."
