「We stayed for 1 week at Emmanuel's place. We started communicating on WhatsApp prior to arriving at the location - I just punched his number into WhatsApp and started texting. We also got recs on a nearby boulangerie. We had a midnight check in which went smoothly. Upon checking in our group could tell that we were visiting someone's home rather than a vrbo that was just bare bones. 「Great location in Paris. It was a bit noisy since there is a rugby bar across the street and it was during the Rugby World Cup, but that did not really bother us. 「Check in instructions were not clear and needed to call and ask for help to locate the apartment. The entrance is a red facade with a sign for a playhouse above the door. The apartment is right on a very busy staircase which means there is street noise all night long. The apartment itself is in a very old building and musty but has been nicely renovated and comfortable. 」
