Unorganized...
Dogs will bark all day and night. They will bark right in front of your door in am which isn't appreciated. Sanitation was at a minimum. If relaxation is your goal then this is not what your looking for. Otherwise the property has potential for vast improvements.
The property was beautiful, the cabins and various other structures were beautiful, the many tile mosaics were , you guess it, beautiful. No complaints at all. The goats were sweet lovies, we met the greatest dog , one of the residents we met was kind and generous and showed us around. My only complaint is that we only had one night in the area! Maybe someday I’ll make it back to the west coast and stay again! Thankful for the kindness of this off grid community for sharing their space with us.
My husband and loved the little community nestled in the mountains. Amazing views that overlook the canyon.
Unfortunately, there were a few things that kind of ruined it for us. The community dogs used the area outside our little cabin to do all their restroom business and it was pretty stinky. We ended up cleaning it up and hosing it down but it was not pleasant. There were also wasps inside the little cabin and somehow they were making their way in through the roof. I think this would be an amazing little spot to stay if they addressed the few things that I listed. It would also be great to have a little shaded deck area, next to the cabin, for a few chairs to sit and take in the view.
