「Going in early October this 5 star turns to a 3 star. Only the breakfast restaurant is open as fine dining is closed for dinners for the season. The hotel music played in the common area s all night waking us in our second floor room. The gas fireplaces in the court yard didn’t work and the hotel maintenance could not fix the gas supply. So all in all 3 star in October anyway.」

「The setting is tranquil, with beautiful views, and the home itself is lovely. Our host was welcoming and gracious. The B&B is about two miles down gravel roads with fairly deep washboards, so guests should be prepared for a rough drive. 「The studio cottage was the perfect place for me and my sister to spend four days getting to know Portland. Multnomah Village is centrally located in a very quiet neighborhood.
