Excellent place to stay.

We had a great time. We were close to everything we wanted to see. The big windows allowed you to see a beautiful mountain range. I would highly recommend this property.

Hawks view

Cabin was very nice.road to, a little sketchy. One lane in some places the loft upstairs bathroom only has a bathtub ,no shower.perfect for kids,not so much for adults.The cabin has everything you need to Cook, like at home.awsome view of mountains.

Birthday Celebration

Quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of Tampa, Florida. It was conveniently located near all the hikes we wanted to explore. The pool table and hot tub were perfect after a long hike! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

Amazing view

Property was very nice, enjoyed sitting out on porch admiring the view. Used the pool table and hot tub, both were quite relaxing. Just what we needed!

Spectacular mountain views

Our family of four enjoyed pur stay in this peaceful and cozy cabin! The views are amazing! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We even got to see a bear from the balcony. Wonderful stay at Hawks View Cabin. Beautiful setting, secluded at the top of a mountain. Private and very quiet. Cabin was just as advertised, clean and well appointed. Very nice place for our 42nd Anniversary.

Happy 30th Anniversary to us!

We reserved the cabin due to the seclusion and privacy of the area. It provided exactly that! The cabin was perfect! We had a bit of trouble with the code to get in, called the owner and he answered immediately with an easy solution. The cabin was very clean inside! Highly recommend! Great property!

Cozy home in the woods

This was a beautiful home on a quiet mountain top. Out of the way from the hustle of the town but only 20 min to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The house was as advertised and beautiful. The hot tub was quite refreshing. The outside of the property needs a little care but it was great sitting on the deck with a coffee in the morning listening to nature.

Gaitlinburg Stay

Home was very nice close to town. Host was outstanding when we had a couple of issues with lock. Responded immediatly. View was great! Some new construction nearby so not sure if when done if it will be as exclusive check with the host. But for now very nice!

First timers

We had a little trouble getting into the cabin, but our issue was resolved in minutes! The moment we walked into the cabin we knew we didn’t want to leave, so we extended our stay. The location of the cabin was secluded (which is what we were looking for) but still close enough to all the attractions. We loved sitting on the porch swing admiring the views. I can’t wait to go back!

Terrific Getaway

The family (two parents, 7 year old and 4 year old) was looking for a base to explore Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Averse to large crowds and gimmicky tourist attractions, we found the Hawks View cabin to be a perfect spot for our needs. This cabin is nestled up in the mountains far enough outside of Gatlinburg that we didn't have to compete with crowds for road space or noise control. It's in a world of its own. The views were great, even before the leaves had fully unfurled (early April). The cabin itself suited us just fine. A few things could be improved upon, like including a drying rack for dishes, but we had everything we needed. It was sad to say goodbye but we'll look to come back. What did we do to avoid the large crowds and gimmicky tourist attractions? First, talk to a ranger at one of the Park's visitor centers. Then, find trails that have a trailhead away from the visitor centers. We did Alum Cave which was an absolute highlight of the trip. Would want to return to Kuwohi, and do more trails closer to the NC border. During a rainy day we drove Cade's Cove (touristy, but not gimmicky) and explored the Tuckaheechee Caverns. We let the kids "mine" for gems while we drank local brews at Red Jasper Beer Garden (the mining was a cute little activity for kids and about the closest thing we got to gimmicky). On a hot, sunny day we drove down Greenbrier toward Grapeyard and pulled off to splash around in the creek for a while. All in all, there's a TON of stuff to do - wet or dry, hot or cold - without stepping foot either in Gatlinburg proper or, even worse, Pigeon Forge.
