“This stay was for our 10th anniversary. The cabin was fantastic. We loved the hot tub and the privacy. We had an issue where VRBO didn’t send us the the cabin number and correct code. We ended up arriving at 2am due an emergency delay in our trip. We contacted VRBO and they contacted our host. We felt bad for waking him at 2am, but he was able to give us the information we needed. We stayed 3 nights. We hope to come back this summer to explore some of the activities that haven’t opened yet for……

“The home was very close to rafting, atv, bridge walk and zip lining. It was nice to be able to cross the bridge to walk to restaurants. We had 5 people and it was perfect for us. Kitchen was nicely stocked, note there were no paper products in the kitchen. House was clean and welcome bag was a nice touch! Thanks for a great base for our trip.”

“Nice cottage perfectly located to New River Gorge and bridge. Hot tub was relaxing after a day of hiking.”

“Great location for home basefor hiking and sight seeing. The area was cleaning up after a storm when we arrived. Power out at places, no wifi, but all was eventually restored. Take a book, as if wifi is out, there is no tv. Cell service very spotty. However the home has what you need for a nice stay. Relax and disconnect!”

“Our stay was cut short (our choice) due to a power outage from tornadoes in the area but we loved our time there. A great little retreat from the every day hustle and bustle!”

“We had a family trip to NRG and needed a bigger place to stay than a bunch of hotel rooms. This cabin was almost the perfect size (the dining table could have been bigger, only seats 4). Lights flickered during a storm but never went out, but we did lose wifi. Wish we'd planned a longer stay to really take advantage of all the amenities. We'll definitely keep it in mind if we plan another trip!”

“Super clean, close to some awesome hikes in New River Gorge (Long Point Trail), plenty of equipment in the kitchen for cooking our own meals, felt like a safe location.”

“This house fit our family perfectly. The kids had plenty to do with the game room and the large yard. The adults enjoyed a game of pool and the hot tub. The getaway is conveniently located to hiking, the beach and Fat Eddie's. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here.”

“We used this property as our home base as we explored the New River Gorge area. The house was just perfect for our needs. It was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evening. The deer came to visit early every morning. We have some wonderful pictures. The beds were comfortable. I have some mobility issues. I took my suction cup grab bars and put them on the doors of the walk in shower and it was perfect. I cannot say enough good things……
