Hospitality and maintenance were two things that I would recommend for review by management/ owner. We stayed here for three nights for our honeymoon and unfortunately this hotel took away from the experience we had with this beautiful island. We stayed in a deluxe room due to the villas being booked up and I would have changed hotel if were aware of the coming experience.
Areas of opportunity:
- Corners were cut to save cost and this sacrifices practicality. Mismatching/ broken toilet seats in room and reception. Minimal needs of a soap bar holder and towel holder were no where in sight. We had a third of a roll of toilet paper with no refill by housekeeping on the third day.
- Tiny bathroom so much of the shower water would expand to half of the floor.
- Restaurant waits were 30 minutes for each process, even as the only customer. It then became a self service- walking to the counter to order.
- When items on the menu ran out, they would not notify you, but bring the item out without the product. Ice cream pancakes, came with no ice cream.
- Hotel dogs were allowed in dining area and pooped on the floor and then sat in customer chairs.
- Shuttles were great, but were told lies twice, about hours that were on display on the reception counter.
- First day of motor bike, we were given one that died every ten minutes.
Pros:
- Refillable water station
- Backdrop of hotel showcases the beautiful of siargao's wilderness.
- Free shuttle in general luna
