Excellent stay - great for groups - beautiful views

The entire experience was absolutely fantastic. We had such a great time, and were only sorry that we hadn't been able to book more time here. The house is wonderfully laid out, especially for larger groups or if you had multiple families. Every amenity you might need. The views are amazing. We even walked down into Getaria one afternoon (the walk back up would be a hike, but doable! Best not done in the dark though). All in all, fantastic on every level. Would absolutely recommend.

Exactly as Pictured…..Amazing & Beautiful!

A beautiful home & porch with the most amazing view of the bay & Getaria! Decorations were wonderful & beds very comfortable. Amaia was next door to help us with needs, including loaning us a cooler for the market & arranging services of a Chef who prepared us a truly spectacular meal our last evening. You will want a car as you can travel to town for dinners (park free near the beach) and have day trips to San Sebastián, Bilbao, the GeoPark and even the Rioja area. Our group of 4 couples recommend it highly and we hope we can visit again soon!

BEAUTIFUL BASQUE

We spent six nights at Lazkano-Enea and found it to be the perfect base for exploring the Basque region. The cottage is charming as are the owners, Amaia and Neal, who reside next door. We called on them to help us out with numerous unfortunate and difficult situations…....the need for urgent care, a parking ticket and an unrepairable flat tire. They were extremely helpful and we deeply appreciated their assistance. Although I doubt we will have an opportunity to return to the Spanish Basque region, I can highly recommend this lovely home.

ROSEMARY

Holiday in Basque house.

In May we had a wonderful holiday with 2 other couples, (all of us from Sydney, Australia,) in a lovely house, surrounded by vineyards, overlooking Getaria. The first impression was stunning, red geraniums in window boxes & bright blue shutters. When we went into the house we were delighted with the view from the living room and long balcony overlooking the ocean & the fishing village. We were very comfortable , the kitchen was well equipped & there was lots of local pamphlets, plus very useful information from the owners. We felt very welcome. We did local trips & found Getaria was a charming place to visit. Lots of good restaurants, plus we all enjoyed watching the fishing fleet coming & going from the port. One memorable night we observed dozens of boats fishing at night with lights, for squid ? There were pleasant local walks & very good local supermarkets. Our visits to San Sebastián several times were highlights. I would suggest booking a pintxos tour with a guide. ( we went by taxis ! ) I would thoroughly recommend this house, lots of spare bedrooms on 2 levels, & an extra kitchenette downstairs. We really only lived upstairs, though one couple enjoyed having the extra space & chose a bedroom downstairs. We were all very sorry to leave, & wished we had an extra week, I would thoroughly recommend staying longer. I would love to go back with my children & grandchildren. I cooked this baby lamb. Delectable !

Fuimos un grupo de amigos para celebrar que cumplíamos 50 años. Buscamos una casa acorde con el acontecimiento y sin duda elegimos la adecuada. En las fotos y descripción ya se percibía lo que al llegar vimos…, una casa increíble, ubicación de película y sin falta de detalle. Pudimos disfrutar de ella y de todas sus estancias. Nos ha gustado la ubicación, las vistas increíbles y que está muy equipada. No es mejora, es opinión subjetiva, la casa estaba muy equipada, nos sólo con menaje, sino alfombras, Decoracion, cuadros, libros,cortinas… a nosotros nos gusta nuestra casa con menos llena, pero eso son gustos. Es por buscarle una pega!!

Casa perfecta para vacaciones.

Lazkano-Enea está situada en un punto perfecto entre Getaria y Zarautz, donde en unos minutos puedes llegar a la ciudad y al mismo tiempo estás fuera de todo en plena naturaleza. La casa es amplia, muy cómoda para compartir entre varias familias o grupos de amigos, está decorada con muy buen gusto y tiene todo lo que podrías necesitar para pasar unas vacaciones inolvidables en una de las zonas más bonitas del País Vasco. La comunicación con los dueños - excelente, y la relación calidad-precio inmejorable. Al principio fue un poco difícil encontrarla, ya que en el buscador de Google Maps no sale la dirección exacta. Pero una vez localizada la casa, no hay perdida.

La casa es estupenda, vistas maravilosas. La casa es muy amplia y con todas las comodidades. Todos los detalles están muy cuidados. El trato de las propietarias es excelente y siempre están disponibles. Hemos disfrutado mucho. Aunque la casa está muy limpia, como tiene muchas cortinas, cojines etc. Se acumula polvo. Nosotros teníamos personas alérgicas al polvo que se vieron afectadas. Por lo demás todo muy bien.

Mucho gusto y todo al detalle

Pasamos un fin de semana 6 amigos, y no nos equivocamos con la casa, está todo al detalle, sábanas bordadas, vajilla buena, la casa está decorada con muchísimo gusto y muy relacionada con el entorno en donde se ubica la casa. Todas las estancias son para disfrutarlas desde los salones, pasando por los baños hasta las habitaciones. Las vistas son espectaculares y la dueña amaia muy atenta y preocupada para que estuviésemos Agustí. Mi más sincera enhorabuena a este alojamiento. Nos permitió pasar un fin de semana entre amigos inolvidable. Volveremos sin ninguna duda y lo recomiendo 100%. De verdad que no creo que podrías mejorar mucha cosa. Se nota que apreciáis los pequeños detalles. Zorionak de verdad!!!!!!
