A mansion built by the vice president of the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1900. The property and house are immaculate and in mint condition! The oak trim and interior are beautiful. Full of antiques with 9 large guest rooms, our stay was amazing. The owner and host Rachel was very personable and inviting. It was a great place to stay. I wish we had more time!

This place is lovely-rooms, grounds, furnishings. It was awkward to have the host say a lengthy blessing before breakfast. Seemed presumptuous that a group of strangers would appreciate the exposure to a host’s personal religious practice. Giving the guests a perfunctory “ do you mind?” doesn’t make it OK.

Property has so much character and is well kept. The folks running it were very helpful showing us around and providing a place for our perishables while we were there. Should we ever pass through that area again I would love to stay there again.

Such a charming place to stay. The owners are very friendly. Everything is beautiful and well maintained. We loved staying here. It was a little too easy to hear people speaking in the common areas, but still totally worth it. We can’t wait to come back!

Outstanding stay at a historic Frank Furness summer home/mansion built in 1901 with a vintage Steinway piano (that guests are welcome to play!) The owners were very charming, easily reachable, and went above and beyond many times to insure a pleasant visit. Breakfasts were delicious, including a custom dish they made to accommodate my dietary preferences. Highlights of the stay include the clean room and comfortable bed, the beauty of the house itself, playing the Steinway, exploring the outside grounds a little bit, and speaking with the owners about the Inn’s history, One morning during breakfast we even got to hear another guest play an original song she came up with about the Inn! I would highly recommend a stay here and hope to return!
