The view from the rooms is excellent, amenities are great, bar has a wide selection of options, literally smack dab in the middle of the best part of Ghent. Will stay here again of I ever return to Ghent

Good hostel, but not cheap. Great that facilities are available but you pay for everything. Staff great and friendly. They will go out of their way to help. The rooms are spacious but in mid summer, uncomfortably hot. Overall a pleasant experience.

I booked for completely the wrong date, Femke at the Hostel rearranged this for me before I arrived dx and was incredibly helpful!! My trip could go on thanks the helpful customer service here. The facilities were very clean and staff very friendly. Perfect!

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Not only is it in a central location with easy access to the University and other points of interest, they have some nice facilities. Obviously the building itself is part of the equation. Mad sleeping somewhere older than my country. A thanks to Brian and his afternoon shift colleague. You were amazing hosts.

Amazing hostel with great staff

Very friendly staff who was there to answer any questions, clean and fresh room and free breakfast, bed linen and lockers. Located in the heart of Ghent, with everything in walking distance. Couldnt have asked for a better place to stay!

100% Recomendado !

Totalmente recomendado! Edificación antigua por fuera, pero súper bien mantenida. Bien ubicado y limpio.. tiene suficientes baños , duchas y espacios comunes para sus huéspedes. Los lockers de las habitaciones son algo pequeños pero con suficiente espacio para dejar tus objetos de valor (puedes ocupar más de no están todos ocupados). Hay desayuno y algunos bebestibles disponibles con pago extra, pero con precios totalmente razonables. También máquina expendedora en caso de que necesites cualquier cosa, tanto comida como candados, útiles de aseo, o paraguas por si llueve ! La cocina tiene implementos para cocinar, espacio para guardar tus alimentos en la nevera o fuera de ella, además de tostadora, microondas, hervidor par agua, etc. Lockers de distintos tamaños para dejar tus equipajes antes o después de tu estancia a muy buen precio (el más pequeño €0.30 por hora y pueden entrar dos mochilas fácilmente). Un equipo de trabajo súper agradable y dispuestos a ayudarte en todo! También puedes rentar kayak para macerar libremente por los canales de Gante, es hermoso! Un detalle que NO depende para nada del hostel o su administración, en la noche se escucha algo de ruido desde la calle, debido a la ubicación y el silencio de la noche hace que se perciba más el ruido y paso de vehículos y buses, pero si vas de turista de seguro te acuestas cansado, no te darás ni cuenta… Si vuelvo a Gante algún día (espero hacerlo) volvería a elegir Hostel Uppelink !
