The Apple Room

  • Your spacious suite with gas fireplace is in the family home, nestled in a sunny forest, setback quietly off an easy access main road in Beachcombers, Gibsons, B.C. Enjoy all the amenities of this oceanside town. Close to beach and local shops but set in the woods. Wheelchair accessible suite with a queen bed, exposed beam, bathroom has a wheel in shower and grab bars for piece of mind. Cable/Netflix/YouTube/WiFi, coffee maker and tea. There is a $20 fee for each friendly pet per night.

    The space:
    The suite is located in the home.
    Private safe parking, 2 ponds for viewing pond life and for families of deer that frequent the property. Enjoy a fresh brewed tea or coffee on the front deck overlooking one of the ponds. Chickens and honeybees working hard all day. Grab something from the garden, berries or an apple from one of the many trees to choose from. 5-minute walk to a school playground. Walking distance to a Brewhouse and Distillery. Enjoy golf or mountain biking. Jump off one of the docks into the beautiful ocean. The stars twinkle bright in the night sky.

    Guest access:
    Front deck as well as front and back yards.

    During your stay:
    Owner will be available 24/7 and lives on the premise.
    Small level of farm and family noise to be expected.

    Other things to note:
    There is a $20/hour cash fee if you want to check out after 11am.
    Please let me know in advance so I can prepare!

Cute property! Great for a couple or a single traveller. I was so impressed by the cleanliness of the room - I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere so clean before. They were very encouraging to reach out if we needed anything extra. Thank you!

The room is set on a beautiful piece of farm property with access to a large deck. Parking is right out front of the room. Our host, Tea, promptly greeted us and was very friendly and helpful. Very large spacious bathroom with lots of fresh towels and stocked with items in case you may have forgot anything. The room was large with a fireplace, table and chairs, dresser, TV, and a well stocked kitchenette which had a mini fridge and microwave. The host provided complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and apples and for an extra charge there was white, rose and red wine available. My only complaint would be the bed as both my husband and I didn't think it was very comfortable. If we ever go back to Gibsons, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks Tea for the wonderful stay.

Extremely clean, very quiet and comfortable. Very nice touches such as complementary coffee, tea, apples and chocolate. Close to centre of town and amenities. Nice garden area and deck to relax in. Very comfy bed! Tea is a very friendly and attentive host who makes you feel at home and welcome. Thank you! Hope to stay with you again sometime.

Wonderful place

We so enjoyed our stay here and the host was extremely helpful and accommodating. The place was clean and well stocked with a small fridge, microwave, kettle and a large bathroom.
