"Parking was convenient if you can grab a spot (it is first come) everything I wanted to do during my stay was in walking distance from property so that was nice! Adding on the $30 value that gets you $25 applied to local restaurants near by and $5 includes a movie theatre ticket and a large popcorn + large drink! Truly a no brainer to add on to your stay. "

"It's clear the owners are refurbishing this motel right off I-91 in Putney, VT. The bathrooms are freshly tiles, wooden floors replace wall to wall carpet, new lighting and thermo pane sliding doors. If you need a bed on a long drive, support these folks. Putney Food Coop is just up the road for great coffee and a wide choice of food."

"This property was definitely on the older side and could use some renos. All of the towels in my room were stained, and the kleenex boxes left empty. I don't think one single staff member greeted me during the 3 nights I stayed there. They just sat behind the desk or walked about but never said hello or even smiled. "

"The rooms are very spacious. Not your typical cookie cutter motel room design. Felt genuinely relaxed in the space. They do not have smart TV’s so no streaming available, was told upgrades are planned for spring. Not a deal breaker for me during this stay but just something to note. River views and balconies drew me to choose this property. Proximity to hiking areas but also Convenient to Brattleboro for funky downtown shops and restaurants. Recommend Echo Lounge for good food and drinks. Highly recommend staying here. "
