“First and foremost, Joe is the ultimate host. Whenever I had a question, he answered immediately. He shared so much information about the area, as to shopping, eating, etc., and was clear about the many extras in this home. The environment is simply charming. It’s inviting and happy. Each room is coordinated and comfortable, especially the mattresses! Just when you think upstairs is awesome, you discover there’s a whole lot MORE downstairs, including bedrooms, game rooms, and a tv/ relaxation……

“beautiful, quiet, peaceful. morning coffee on the deck overlooking the quiet cove off the lake watching deer and humming birds. days spent on the dock, sunning, reading, swimming and kayaking. great dock for a boat or getting on a kayak. nice concrete platform in the shallows for little ones to stand in the water. evenings on the deck watching changing light of the setting sun on the (no houses) forested smith mountain. definitely on my "come-back" list.”
