Personnel très avenant et professionnel. Toutefois, je ne crois pas qu’il soit possible d’y résider si on est à mobilité réduite. Toutes les chambres sont au deuxième et il n’y a pas d’ascenseur. Très tranquille dans un petit village à approx 17 km du centre ville de Glasgow. Idéal pour relaxer. Le seul commerce du village- hôtel -restaurant. Bonne nourriture. Chambres propres assez grande et salle de bain excellente à tout point de vue.

Scottish delight
The hotel lived up to expectations and more. The owners and staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, the room was warm and comfortable, the food a bit variable but I recommend the halibut if it's available, it was amazing. And they have a superb range of gins! Also, the area is quiet and the bus goes past the front door. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Ideal for weekend away with kids
Met all my expectations and more!!! Needed a room that could accommodate age rage of kids ranging from 3- 14 years and room was absolutely perfect. Great base for heading out and about, restaurant was very relaxed, excellent staff service, food for adults and children delicious. So pleased to have found this little gem.

Two night stay
The customer service in The Uplawmoor hotel is very good. The food is good, bar is nice and the breakfast is good. The hotel is ideal if you are looking or a stay in the Glasgow area. Needs a wee bit of upgrading in the bathroom we had but the room was warm and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Excellent value hotel not far from city center,traditional set up but up to date apart from no lift. Staff could not be more welcoming or eficent ,food excellent,and sensible prices apart from the wine list which was a trifle overpriced. As Custer said we will return..

Enjoyable stay at the Uplawmoor Hotel. The owner Stuart was extremely helpful. When the local taxi company never showed up and kept our group waiting for more than an hour he stepped in and drove us to our destination. So thank you Stuart for saving the day !! The hotel rooms were very comfortable and clean and those who had breakfast said that it was really good. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

Quiet but Clean Comfortable Hotel
Stayed for a couple of nights in connection with family business. A very quiet and comfortable hotel with excellent food. If I need to stop overnight again in the area, I shall certainly be stopping here!

Great Traditional Inn!
This is a lovely hotel, with very welcoming staff. My room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was of high quality. The bar has a very good food menu and a good array of well kept ales. If I am in the area again, this hotel would be at the top of my list.

We stayed one night on an 11 day Scotland vacation that took us to a new location every night. We relied on GPS to find it and took us right there. It is quite off the beaten path! The restaurant food was excellent. Staff was helpful and courteous.

Stayed here recently on business. Arrived early evening to a lively bar atmosphere which was good, however was expecting a restaurant for dinner only to find bar food the only option. Can't fault the food I had, just wish it had been a little more refined. Pleasant enough surroundings. Room was comfortable, if not on the small side. Using the shower was an art form in itself, but the instructions that were on the floor instead of stuck to the wall were self explanatory and got the shower working. Old building, expect a few very minor issues. All in all a pleasant stay, not the usual corporate hustle you get in big hotel chains. A little ways off the beaten track, which was nice. Probably won't stay again as there's always somewhere else to explore, but if you like traditional cooking, good bar atmosphere and basic accommodation then this is the place for you.
