「It is magical home in a magical place. It can't be more welcoming. The house is full of light . I live the kitchen and the living room with amazing views towards the sea and the saumon fishers.I have love the time sitting at home, relaxing and enjoying the peace and the warmth atmosphere. I have love playing the piano and cooking in the big kitchen.The bedrooms upstairs are big and very comfortable.Eileen has been very nice to us.She has answered all our questions.Hope to come back again soon.」

「Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

「This was my family's second time staying at this home and once again our stay was amazing. Martina and Claire are fabulous to work with and very responsive to messages and texts. The home itself has everything- it is spacious, multiple bathrooms and a large kitchen to enjoy! The location is spectacular!! 「We had a wonderful family vacation here! The home is modern, clean, and fully stocked with everything you might need during your stay, which is so helpful if you’re coming from far away. The location and view are beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The property manager is kind, prompt and very helpful. Our three young children enjoyed the bunk beds and the outdoor area. 「Lovely, well-designed and well-equipped house, charming hosts, beautiful area. Lots of information on its flora, fauna and history among the well-lined bookshelves. Car needed, good shopping facilities in nearby Letterfrack and Clifden. Fresh fish for sale in Letterfrack on Thursday and Friday mornings. All six of us (one Irish, two Germans, three French) were delighted with our stay.」

Unsere Tochter sitzt im Rollstuhl. john hat extra für uns eine Rampe an die hintere Türe gebaut, so dass die beiden Stufen im Erdgeschoss kein Problem waren! Danke dafür! 「It was a little tough to find the place, but once I did the stay was great. The owner lives in a new house on the lake and rents out the bottom floor to guests. James was very helpful in getting me settled. Everything is new and up to date. The place is a couple miles outside Oughterard village so you probably need a car to best enjoy the place 」

「Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo.」
