The perfect place

We had a wonderful visit. This is the perfect place for family gatherings. We enjoyed nature walks, seeing cows and goats and the beautiful stars at night. There 14 of us and the house was perfect with plenty of beds for sleeping.

This trip was a multi-family yearly vacation with 6 adults and 5 kids under 10. We visited the Dino world and the fossils at the state park and played in the river. The house fit everyone perfectly. We spent every evening on the front porch watching for deer. The kids played in the pool every chance they could. The pool was knee high for an adult and perfect height for the kids. We had 2 under 2 and they were able to play in the pool with daddy's help. The host was amazing they met us at the farm store when we needed ice, souvenirs as well as homemade tinctures and creams and more. We were able to hold and feed the goats and stroll thru the gardens. The hosts walked with us for a time teaching the older kids about the herbs and how they are used. We were going to feed the pigs, but it was too muddy due to an overnight storm. The owners are on the property available but not in the way. NOTE: Pics show a Washer and dryer but that was replaced with additional kitchen cabinets and counter tops. Much better use of space.

Country House

The house is on a beautiful peaceful piece of land. Porches are on both sides of house for seating and relaxing. Nice place to stay.

Amazing Place

This was such a nice place, very peaceful, and beautiful. The staff went out of their way to be compassionate, kind, and helpful. I cannot be more happy with our experience.

Wonderful catching up with friends

This was the first opportunity since COVID for us to get together with a few other families that we see yearly. It was a great place to stay and it had room for all of us. There was many thing we were able to do on the property (hiking, feeding the goats) and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around in the fresh air. We were also only 15 to 20 minutes away from many attractions (Fossil Rim, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Paluxy Heritage Park, Big Rocks Park) and eating (Loco Coyote, Hammonds BBQ). It was a lovely and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect for our Family

The Habari house with 5 bedrooms was perfect for our 3 families. We enjoyed the beautiful country setting by sitting out on the porch and having a fire in the fire pit for our smores. Jeff was very thoughtful for stopping by to ask our grandson to ride down with him to feed the cows. A great stay for us!

September weekend stay

Our stay was great....Only minus was the listing stated there was a hot tub at the property....just understand there are 3 houses on this property and only 1 of them has a hot tub. The listing isn't clear on this matter.

Nice country getaway spot

It was a fun and relaxing getaway for our family of 7. The land, house and location helped us foster our family's love of nature. The front porch was perfect for coffee and breakfast in the morning. The view was beautiful. We went a few hikes around the property. Our children favorite things about staying at the house were the interesting rooms and feeding the goats and Zoey the donkey. We hope to come back again some day.

Beautiful and relaxing

This is a great ranch, one of my favorite places in Texas! Really amazing! This was our second time here and we plan to come back again. We enjoyed the nice views, hiking, bird watching, or just sitting on the porch. Kids loved to feed the goats and the cave! The property manager, Sandy, is a very nice person and gave us lots of information. We were lucky that we could even participate in a yoga class on one morning . Habari house was perfect for 2 families!

Family Thanksgiving 2019

This amazing property is a gem. 8 adults & 3 kids were able to explore the vast nature this property has to offer. The house was big enough to for our family to have privacy when desired. Lots of room to encourage interaction with music, games and just relaxing. The plus was NO TV but internet if you needed it. Big porches allowed people to sit outside if it rained. Definitely recommend.

Friends and fun

The house has a very "homey" comfortable vibe in a somewhat remote peaceful setting. Was perfect for a group of friends or family enjoying downtime, sitting on the porch and watching the deer, fishing in one of the ponds or hiking and running on trails around the property.

Family (Texas Safari) Vacation at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center

The house was spacious enough for the 5 family units we had. The house is fully equipped and all you need is food! We will definitely be back to make more wonderful family memories.

Beautiful, clean, well maintained, comfortable beds, nice kitchen and grill

The house was perfect for our extended family. The house was very clean and my 85 year old parents slept well. The ranch is quiet and a great place to relax. We played games, went to fossil rim and feed a giraffe, horseback riding, so many great activities in the area. We will come back again. The people at the ranch made us feel like part of the family.

Wonderful stay

Great place with lots to do! We had 5 families (all with kids) staying at Habari and it fit all of us perfectly. The trails were fun and just staying at the house was great. Gigi was a great help when we got lost! Would definitely stay here again!
