“We just got back from staying at Bellavista for a week, and be "we", I mean a very large family including infants, toddlers, kids, teenagers, uncles, aunts, and even grandma. In fact, we probably were slightly above the stated capacity of the house, but our hostess Laurie was very communicative and responsive. It was easy to work out with her ahead of time that the property could accommodate us. We had an absolute blast at this property. The pool / patio / screened in porch area is an ideal hang……

“The cabin was exactly what my daughter and I were looking for. Everything was clean, organized and family friendly. A bonus was the property connects to Bessie Woods and we were able to go for a hike on the trails without even having to leave the property. If you love quiet and the sounds of nature, this is the perfect place for you. We can’t wait to stay there again soon.”

“What a beautiful location on Kinderhook Lake. When you aren’t on the water, you will want to enjoy viewing the lake from the nice sized deck or from the dining table on the windowed porch. I traveled with my two young adult children and pup. The cottage was the perfect size for us. WiFi was great, one of us had to work a day while there. We kayaked every morning and evening, the provided kayaks were wonderful. There is plenty to explore on the 350 acre lake, saw bald eagles every day right near……

The pool house was NEXT level! Our children and grandchildren were in that pool all day. The outdoor kitchen was magazine beautiful. “Communication with the host was great. My father had a medical issue beyond the refund window that stopped us from making the original reservation date, Owner allowed us to move our date out a couple of weeks. Everything was clean, the kitchen and dishes were clean. The bathroom was brand new. All of the beds were comfy and clean. I slept on the couch bed in the third room, it was firm and comfortable. It was a great location for us. We were originally from the area and went back to visit……
