“We were given an upgrade...very thankful for the huge room. Great air conditioning unit..plus fans. Staff were all happy and helpful. A special thank you to Isuru from the Rooftop Restaurant and Bar. He helped me choose the right Sri Lankan option at breakfast...it was fantastic and a lot of food...all superbly cooked by the chefs. Pool on the Rooftop with Spectacular views of the Hiriketiya Beach. Also to watch the daily antics of the local monkeys. Location 100mtrs to the beach. Lots……

“Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse på Lum Residence. Vi förlängde med en vecka och bodde i ett Deluxe Dubbelrum bredvid poolen. Hjälpsam och vänlig personal som alltid hejar, god mat och en fin pool som var skön att svalka sig i. Ett plus är yogasalen utomhus på en takterrass för stretching och yoga. Bra AC och takfläkt. Personligt och inte för stort hotell. Läget är perfekt med en kort moped eller Tuk-Tuk tur till restauranger och stranden. Vi rekommenderar det här stället till alla!!!”

“Wir verbringen gerade einige Tage in der Villa Alba. Es ist eines der schönsten Hotels, in denen ich je war! Das offene Design, mitten in der Natur, eins mit der Umgebungen und den dort lebenden Tieren - es ist einmalig. Es ist total ruhig gelegen aber trotzdem nicht weit zum Stadtkern. Die Zimmer sind super groß, bequeme Betten, man hat alles, was notwendig ist. Das Personal ist so lieb und zuvorkommend. Unsere Reise verspätete sich aufgrund des Fluges etwas, aber der liebe Sicherheitsmann hat……

“Ocean view rooms are worth the price, its in an exceptional location. Rooms are sparkling clean, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is amazing and facilities are well looked after. If i return i wouldnt consider staying anywhere else! Absolutely loved my stay here. ”

“This hotel has an amazing spot on the beach. The only drawback was the lack of a view from our room. The room was large and comfortable and the staff were delightful. Despite the lack of light/view in the room it does offer a number of beach facing seating areas and a fantastic breakfast ”

“Utrolig lekkert boutique hotell. Litt harde senger og mye bølgesus inn på de stilige rommene, som gjorde det litt vanskelig å sove. Frokost burde inkludert kaffe/te, men var ellers god. Maten ellers har også et potensiale for å bli bedre. Samme var service og når ting kom på bordet, men hjalp at alle var veldig søte og imøtekommende. Alt i alt et supert opphold som anbefales. ”

“Beautiful property on great stretch of Kabalana beach. It was really nice walking along the long stretch of beach and having a dip in the warm and clear water. The king size bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable. The pool area was relaxing with comfortable sun beds with a great view of the beach and also direct access. We enjoyed eating lunch at the pool area with some of the best king prawns we had, deep fried in panko breadcrumbs. Everything we had for lunch and breakfast was good……
