Excellent value! We came for a stopover on a longer journey, and we really liked the convenience of the hotel with a nice restaurant and relaxed atmosphere. The service was also excellent and very attentive.

Breakfast was small, but covered the important things and the serving staff was nice. My room smelled so bad so I had to have the window open from time to time and it was not cleaned properly when I arrived. There was for example a long black hair on the pillow. Fortunately the hotel is close to a bus stop, because when we asked the evening staff to book a taxi for us in the morning they just laughed and said that there are no taxis available between 6:30-8. So I would not recommend this hotel at all.

You get what you pay for in Göttingen

The service was good and the staff very friendly, but the room decoration must have been done 20 years ago. The bed was very hard and I could hear sirens from a near by hospital. The dinner at the restaurant was below par, but the staff was helpful to pack food for take away. The breakfast was below par as well. I guess I got what I paid for

The girl in the reception was extremely friendly and serviceminded. We wished that she could receive more friendly reactions from the restaurant next door, which she apparently never get from them when she wants to book a table for the hotel clients. They answered very rudely that they were fully booked. They were not because they did have a table when we went in there ourselves. The hotel manager should go and talk to those people in the restaurant! It is bad PR when hotel clients hear their arrogance. Hope the girl gets credit for her friendly client attitude. After all, the restaurant needs the hotel clients!
