「A+ 10 out of ten!! (But don't tell anybody.) The setting and scenery at The Whistling River Cabin are unbelievable. And the large deck is built to take full advantage of it. The hosts didn't miss a detail. Even the kitchen was very well equipped and was surprisingly well-stocked with items we did not expect to find. The gas grill was brand new. 「We just wanted a quiet get away for a couple of days close to the North Cascades. We had hoped to see the fall foliage but it turned out we came a couple weeks early for the best of that. We stopped by the ranger station there in Darrington, and then drove up to Rockport and on to Newhalem to see what fall leaves we could. The cabin was quiet, clean and cozy. We loved sitting in the hot tub on the back deck and also sitting beside the Sauk River in the back of the property.」
