Wonderful Wongawallan

A truly unique home in an area of outstanding beauty. You feel like you are staying in an eco-resort in the Tambourine Mountains but with all the privacy of a single family home. The house is spacious and beautifully appointed with everything you could want for a family vacation. It is only 20-30mins from the Gold Coast in one direction and even leas than that from the Tambourine Mountains in the other, so you are never at a loss for things to do. Highly recommend!

Great Stay

This is a scenic and relaxing place to stay in the Gold Coast. The home has one of the most beautiful views and is located away from the noisy city. An incredibly peaceful holiday home.

Stunning Property

We enjoyed our stay very much at this well presented property with stunning views of the mountain range. Very private. Loved the fire pit area and the bar area downstairs. Our hosts put in a lot of effort in making our stay most comfortable and memorable

Amazing property with so much to keep you entertained without leaving the house!

Thank you so much for allowing us to be at your stunning property for the weekend, we had an amazing time and with all of the different rooms and places you could hang out, we had a great weekend with friends bonding and enjoying the serenity of the surrounds. We have planned to make it an annual trip so will definitely come back again next year.

Absolutely beautiful!

I cannot praise this place enough. I stayed here with my partner, my Mum and my aunt for three nights over my 29th birthday. The house itself is incredible. The walls are full of the owners own art work. The furnishings and decor is truly stunning. Great outdoor area with fabulous hut tub and incredible views from the huge balcony overlooking the mountains. To say it’s only around half an hour drive from surfers paradise and a lot of other busy places it’s a beautiful serene area where you can fully relax and unwind. I would certainly stay here again in a heartbreat!

5 star girl's weekend

This beautiful house was the perfect place for a large group of ladies to relax and have a whole lot of fun together. The back deck and it's magnificent view meant we sat around for hours chatting and the fire pit was a complete bonus. It was all constructed and ready to light for us, so another few hours was spent around the fire. We had no troubles with anything from the booking through to check out. We had a catered dinner at home, which was so much more relaxed than going out to dinner. The access to Tambourine Mountain for activities was fabulous. I would definitely book again for an easy and rejuvenating getaway from the city.

Great stay in the hills

This was a fantastic property for our family for Christmas. It's secluded and away from the city but grocery stores and Mount Tamborine attractions are just a short drive away. We loved hanging out on the deck, watching movies in the theatre room and exploring the nearby bush reserves. Various local wildlife dropped in to say hi. We had to make a last minute change to our reservation due to unforseen circumstances and the host was accommodating and very responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend this property.

Girls Weekend

My girlfriends and I stayed at Larissa's beautiful home to celebrate my 31st Birthday, Larissa made my stay feel extra special by leaving a box of chocolates and bottle of wine for us to enjoy. This place was so stunning from the furniture, artwork and those incredible sunset views. Check in was a breeze and we were even greeted by a local Kangaroo in the backyard which visited us everyday along with bush turkeys, magpies and kookaburras. We enjoyed BBQ breakfasts, lunches and dinners on the large outdoor deck area, swings in the hammock and relaxing in the spa. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending this place to everyone :)

Fantastic Girls Weekend Away!!

What a fabulous property this is! We had such a fabulous time at this great house in an amazing location. It was so peaceful and relaxing sitting on the spacious,comfy verandah of an afternoon/night watching the sun set over the mountains. We were visited by a kangaroo and several birds and really appreciated being in such a natural, beautiful environment. Plenty of room for the 7 of us, and everything you need for cooking. Not too far away is Mt.Tambourine, where we went for a 1hr walk on the Witches Track, followed by a stroll through the village and a beer at the brewery which had live music. We enjoyed Larissa's property so much we will be making this an annual event.

Luxuriously Tranquil

This property is absolutely outstanding. Every detail is pure luxury, right down to the beautiful shower and bath products and amazingly comfortable pillows. The stunning mountain views plus the total peace and quiet make relaxation easy. The secluded outdoor spa, fire pit and bar make it easy for a group to unwind and enjoy a truly exceptional weekend.

Gorgeous views and perfect for a relaxing weekend

We had a relaxing girls weekend away at 'The Mountain View Retreat'. The house is spacious, lovely and there are gorgeous views from the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and took advantage of the fire pit, spa and movie room. Highly recommend staying here for a group weekend getaway and would love to come back!

Amazing house in beautiful location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a hen weekend. Plenty of room, beautiful deck with great views, outdoor spa bath, well equipped kitchen and amenities, plenty of parking.
