“Cool place”

“The place was great! Annie was awesome to work with. It's a beautiful quiet lake. I've been coming to this lake for years. But first time staying here. We loved it. Plenty of room for everyone. There is no Internet, but it was actually kinda nice. Took the kids sometime to get used to that . It was fun watching DVD's and VHS with the kids.Great beach area and dock to enjoy. I'm sure I'm missing stuff. But we loved being here for a week. Definitely looking forward to coming back. Oh if you're……

“Great location. Close to the little town of Curtis and Gould City. Close to an accessible ramp for our fishing boat. Perfect little get-a-way cottage. Communication with owners was very good, friendly & prompt. Small glitch with a popped breaker for hot water, very prompt & fast fix. Very nice fire pit with chairs & tables. The grill was in a good location, easy to use and nice and clean. It was really nice to grill a few meals outside. We are looking forward to another stay next year.……

“House was a great homebase for all the things we like to do in the UP. There are not many homes in this particular area and this one wont last forever as a rental as it is on the market for sale. Stay here while you can! Owner was communicative about the freezer/icemaker not being in full working order - not a huge issue for us, but nice that she made us aware.”

“I still consider this a 5 star stay but there are some things I think would be helpful for future guests. 1) There is no place to put anything. No dressers, nor usable closets, no space in the bathroom for anything. You will live out of your suitcase and because there is no room for that either, you will have to get everything put away each time you use it. 2) similar to the above, because the kitchen is well stocked with basic essentials, there is nowhere to put food away. We stayed a full week……

“This home was a good stop on our waterfall tour. The home was clean, easy to find, check in and out. My only regret is I misread the sleeping accommodations. I thought there were two queen log beds and two other twin beds. One of the queen beds was the sofa sleeper. It was comfortable enough just not what I thought. ”
