Charming, Spacious & What a Location!

We loved Juan Manuel’s apartment, for many reasons. First, it is central to almost everything. We joined up with old friends for several dinners, and we were always just minutes away from our destination, while our friends often faced lengthy treks through crowds of tourists. Yes, the Bib Ramblas is a big tourist destination, but being 3 stories above the crowds, plus having good windows,made all the difference. We loved watching the activities on the plaza, day and night, but everything was quiet by about 11:30. We slept well! (And we had incredible views of the snow-capped Sierra Nevada.) Finally, the lovely Mrs. Rufina, who works with Juan Manuel in the building, washed a load of our clothes one day. For 6 euros (wash & dry) we had a stack of clean, beautifully folded clothes waiting for us when we returned from exploring!! We would book this apartment again without hesitation.

Amazing

Fabulous place and location. If you prefer modern hotels this isn't for you. If you love charm and beauty, book this place. Only thing that could have been better would have been some coffee in the morning.

Great location

Perfect apartment for two people. Very easy to access by taxi/Uber. It drops you off no more than 50 yards to the apartment. Would stay here again for sure.

Very Charming Apartment With An Outstanding Location

We very much enjoyed our stay! The apartment is very charming, the host was extremely helpful and responsive and the check-in process was effortless. The location was outstanding, overlooking Plaza Bib-Rambla. Easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Even though the plaza was very active, we never had any issue with noise when sleeping.

Excellent location and room.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for sightseeing and within walking distance to everything. There were many restaurants and bars very close. The room was spacious and well laid out. We would stay here again!

Unbeatable Location

Right in the heart of it all in bustling Grenada. Kitchen was small with no stove (microwave only). Wi-Fi was so weak as to be almost useless. Otherwise a very great and highly recommended property.

Incredible location, Adorable Apartment

We could not have been more centrally located. Sweet balcony overlooking square filled with restaurants and shops. The apartment is quintessential European, full of everything we needed. Communication was top notch. Would stay again for sure!

Great location

This is an awesome location, right on a plaza full of shops and restaurants. You would think it would be noisy but it was really quiet with the windows shut. The beds were very comfortable and the ac worked great. The checkin process was so easy! This apartment is in a no car zone so buses and cabs are about a 3 block walk. No big deal, just good to know ahead of time. The bathroom could use some attention, shower needs new caulk, and there were some ants. Nothing that really impacted our stay. I would still highly recommend this apartment!!

An ideal apartment for your stay in Granada.

We found this apartment to be perfect for a stay in Granada. It is large and bright and the big windows open on to the Plaza de Bib Rambla. The square is full of activity with many restaurants and shops. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the bus to the Alhambra and the Albayzin. The apartment has a small kitchen area with all the essentials and a good bathroom with a large shower. The bedroom has great room darkening curtains, twin beds and a good closet. The elevator is a plus and an essential for many travelers. The owner provides lots of details regarding access to the city and attractions and is quick to reply to any inquiries. We enjoyed meeting Marta who spoke English and provided us with information at check in including the route to the nearest grocery store. A written explanation in English of the route would be helpful as the store is nearby but requires several changes of direction as you walk! A really wonderful spot to come back to after a long day of visiting the beautiful city of Granada. Thank you very much.

large apartment in central location

Nice spacious apartment that overlooks the Plaza Bib Rambla. Windows also face the mountains which are snow covered all year round. Hard floors with high ceilings. It is a few flights up, but there is an elevator. We liked to keep the windows open because it was very scenic and the weather was mild. However, lots of flies which is no fault of the host. Though beautiful views, balconies are too small to hang out on. Catedral is right next door. The Alhambra is about a fifteen minute walk. However, it is uphill. Highly recommended.

Grenade

Appartement bien situé, à côté de la cathédrale, donnant sur une place avec des restaurants et des souks. Bon accueil, pour l'Alhambra soit à pied, soit prendre la navette . Je le conseille vivement pour ceux qui veulent visiter Grenade.

Fabulous location....but

Well, it depends what you value most. This is a very old building, high ceilings, tiled floors, spectacular views down the length of Plaza Bib Rambla, for our money the most simpatico place in Grenada. Opening the french doors to the square in the morning with a cup of coffee in hand is why folks travel! We would have wished the owners paid more attention to the hospitality details. The futon couch and chairs weren’t comfortable to sit on, and the upholstered chairs at the dining table were way to low for the table. The bathroom and mini kitchen were quite small and difficult to operate in. There also weren’t adequate reading lights in either living room or bedroom, except for very bright overhead ceiling lights. Stuffing from the supplied bed pillows shed into the room. The rest of the bedding was of poor quality. Thankfully, we had our own travel pillows. The photos of this place, along with a huge number of five star reviews, made it seem special, so these deficiencies were surprising. All these criticisms aside, the location was special and the views an ongoing pleasure during our three days. Numerous excellent restaurants are minutes away. One such place, Oliver’s, was just featured on Anthony Bourdain’s travel/food show, and is right around the corner!

We loved the location!!

A perfect location overlooking plaza Bib-Rambla where there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment has high ceilings and large rooms with great sound proof windows that can be opened during the day and evening and closed at night for quietness. Great air conditioning for comfort at night. There is no clothes washing machine but they offered to have our clothes washed and dried for only 5 euros! The owner was very helpful from the beginning of the reservation until the end. He even gave us some great advice on how to get tickets to the Alhambra after we forgot to purchase them weeks before our trip( even though we had been told to buy them early!!) Definitely a great place to stay and highly recommend!

Such a beautiful and beautifully located apartment!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here! What a perfect location on the Bibrambla Plaza. Really in the heart of everything! We were able to tour the Cathedral, and nearby plazas from there. We loved our dinners right outside the door! We took the bus to the Alhambra but walked to the Albycin one night to view the Alhambra at night. The check in process was seamless, the apartment well equipped. The air conditioner worked great! Plenty of space and beautifully furnished. The one twin bed had a squeak which was a little annoying but we would definitely stay here again!!!

Height of elegance and comfort

This is a magical place to stay. The kind of place you dream about. High ceilings with tall windows overlooking a bustling (and yet surprisingly quiet) street. The shower was glorious. The apartment is adjacent to some rooms which are presumably used as "hotel" type rooms so there is a manager on site that helped us with dinner reservations, printing bus tickets and even arranged to have our laundry done for five Euros!!!!! We were able to extend one night and were thrilled to do so. Kitchen is well equipped. Air conditioner worked well. The only thing missing was an iron.

Fantastic find

We rented this apartment for 11 nights in September 2016. Upon our arrival we were sooooo delighted to discover such a fantastic find. It was a great home base for exploring Granada on foot, going on bus tours, local markets, restaurants, the Alhambra, and other tourist attractions. This apartment is in Plaza Bib-Rambla, and while it is in the middle of a busy location, we were impressed by how quiet it was and also the fact that the building is very well-maintained, which we appreciated. We will definitely be back!

Super Apartment- Great Location

Don't miss this accomdation! Centrally located a hop and skip from the cathedral, a few more steps to the tourist office and almost everything is within walking distance (easier to walk down from the Alhambra than up!). Navas street is 3 minutes for tapas (La Chicota is very good). The square where it's located is hopping during the day and evening and quiet at night. The apartment is spacious, well appointed and overlooks the square. There is a lift. There are multple resaurants on the square itself. Granada is fun and this apartment makes it easy.
