Spacious very clean cabin. Kitchen was great for cooking- very well stocked. Enjoyed evenings around a big bonfire area telling stories. Lovely quiet location with a nice sandy beach for swimming. Host was super responsive and helpful. Enjoyed our stay!!!

Peaceful

House was beautiful and nicely furnished! The grassy yard was also nice. We had a few fires outside and took the kayaks out one evening. It rained pretty hard one day so we enjoyed the puzzle stash and played card games. Overall a great stay!

Fantastic Log Cabin in the Wood

Perfect weekend getaway!

We stayed here labor day weekend (my husband, myself and our 2 kids ages 11yrs and 3yrs) We rented the pontoon which was well worth it as we went fishing everyday. The cabin is beautiful and the location was so private and relaxing! We will definitely go back!

Great family get-away!

Everything from reserving, communicating, staying and relaxing was easy and enjoyable. The log cabin is beautiful and well-equipped. The beach area, water toys and pontoon were fun! Could not ask for anything more, this stay exceeded our expectations and Randy is a wonderful host. Will definitely be returning next year!

Great winter weekend

Fantastic winter weekend. Great house, well stocked kitchen with crockpot, and a great fireplace with plenty of split wood. We skied, snowshoes and enjoyed the gorgeous views.

Beautiful property

We had a great stay in the Northwoods of Minnesota. We fished off the dock and took out the pontoon too. Kids enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboat. At night we all relaxed by the fire. The property was just what we needed and we loved the log home charm.

Amazing family time!

From the fire pit to the pontoon boat to the beautiful location, this property was worth every penny!! Gorgeous log cabin with plenty of room! The deck is heavenly! Only complaint would be the mosquitos, but they sell spray for that …lol!!

Georgous cabin, wonderful property

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful cabin with great lake access. Plenty of privacy. Amenities available at near by town - Grand Rapids. Owner was fantastic to work with and communicating well from prior to the trip to afterwards. Would highly recommend. We are coming back this summer

Fall Getaway

Wow, what a fabulous weekend getaway. The home and property are beautiful. Everything you need is available for a relaxing vacation. Enough space for a family or group of friends. Great home for a getaway with family and friends.

Very nice place, easy to get to and close to Cohasset and Grand Rapids. Snowmobile trail access was not difficult. Ample parking. Great communication with Randy. Definitely recommend. Thank you!

Excellent Family Getaway

My family of five spent Labor Day weekend at this property and it was great. John was extremely helpful and accommodating and the property itself was excellent. It's both close to a couple of towns while also being remote. Our boys spent a lot of time fishing and our daughter enjoyed the beach and doing crafts on the deck. We'd definitely go back.

Family Reunion at the Lake

My family and I rented Randy's beautiful lake house for a week this summer. The house was as lovely as described on the Vrbo website. As cozy as it looks!

We spent Christmas to New Years in this beautiful log cabin on the lake. It was even better than we hoped with 3 comfortable bedrooms a cozy fireplace that kept us nice and toasty despite well below zero temperatures outside. Read a lot, played games, and made memories with family. Exactly what we hoped it would be!

Memorial Day

We stayed over Memorial Day and it was so peaceful. The place is absolutely gorgeous. We had fun on the lake and everyone enjoyed using the pontoon. We Caught some good size northerns and Randy was great! He was super nice and gave us some great suggestions for fishing. I would definitely go back!
