“They didn't tell me they had somebody living on site until I was on my way there, between midnight and 2:30 a.m., because I told them I would be late, getting there.There was somebody else there when I got there in the room that I was supposed to be in, plus the person that lives on site.The key was where it was supposed to be, but the outside door was locked, and I rang the doorbell several times, and contacted the host, by calling and sending messages, and I still had to wait about 20 minutes……

Sent 4 messages the day i booked and one the morning of arrival and didn't receive a response to my specific inquiries until close to check in. Very disappointing experience. ”

“Great location, very nice house. The walk to the sound is true but couldn’t get there because it was all privately owned frontage. Had to walk further down the street to get to the sound. The only other problem we had was the WiFi wasn’t working properly at the beginning of the week, so we had a few days with no tv. I was told that the outerbanks had this problem from time to time. Overall very comfortable house, will stay again. Side note the rug in living room needs to be changed,……
