"To start with, no check in information was sent to me before I arrived. When I arrived I couldn't get hold of the owner as he wasn't answering his phone and didn't have the curtesy to reply to the several messages I left, both in the form of answer phone and text. I had to contact Hotels.com via the online chat. Eventually one of the owners employees phoned me and said he would come and let me in. Once in the property, things didn't really improve. "Had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Check-in and check-out was easy. Excellent location right in the city centre. Had a great night's sleep, bed was huge and very comfortable."

"An excellent option for a visit to the National Hockey Centre (our purpose) or for the tennis / university events. A very handy retail park is across the car park. Food was very good and other options are nearby. A handy Starbucks is in the hotel if you need a grab and go option. We didn't use the leisure facilities due to lack of time but they looked great."

"The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Parking was helped by the hotel sending an email with the postcode so it was easy to find. The down side was being charged for overnight parking because we had not booked directly with the hotel. Breakfast was acceptable but expensive as there was no way to have a smaller breakfast at a slightly less price. Staff were pleasant and helpful."
