Villa 5 am kleinen Wasserloch, super schön eingerichtet, sehr großzügig. Wir haben dort ein Nashorn, Affen und verschiedene Boks gesehen, direkt an unserer Terrasse.

Wonderful place Five stars.

Second time we have been here and this time we brought friends. Really top notch. We recommend the villas with the game viewing and a horseback safari (at least 2 hours). One of our party was unhappy about the electric fences as they had a toddler and felt unsafe. I felt a lot safer after the buffalo was centremetres from our garden.

Beautifull accommodation with nice views. Very quiet and very special that the wild animals walk around your villa. The restaurant of the game reserve was also a treat. We absolutely recommend going there and stay for at least a few nights and not just one as we did.

Abentuer pur! Grillieren zwischen Giraffen+Rhinos

Die Busch Villas sind mitten im Game Reserve gelegen und bieten einen abenteuerlichen Aufenthalt mit interessanter Aussicht in den Wildpark und vielen Wildtieren (Rhinos, Zebras, Giraffen, etc.). Unbedingt die Villa Nummer 5 nehmen, da diese die beste Aussicht auf den Park hat!

Stayed in Bush Villa Lodge 1. Fantastic location, well appointed lodge with 3 fantastic bedrooms each with own en suite. Hippo’s in watering hole right outside entrance. Great experience overall which also included a late night, not to be forgotten, stand off with 2 rhino’s while driving back to the lodge after dinner. Thankfully Park staff came to our assistance which allowed us to return to the villa.

Mediocre but with wild animals roaming around

The best thing of our stay here was the free roaming rhino next to our car park in the evening. But all over the villa felt overpriced (we paid 6449R/around 320€) and furnished with little love. E.g. there was no fireplace set, light in the living room could be only switched to rather bright or off. The toilet in the upper room is in the bed room (no door in between), there are no curtains in the living room (but neighbours in sight), there's fresh coffee powder for exactly 4 cups provided. The fridge was switched off when we arrived. Wifi has to be purchased separately, I think it should be included in this price range, there's no mobil coverage for Telkom.

Eine Villa im Reservat

Die Bush Villas liegen tatsächlich mitten in dem privaten Reservat Botlierskop. Dank der detaillierten Anfahrtsbeschreibung, die wir vorab erhalten haben, fanden wir problemlos und halbwegs rechtzeitig den Weg zur Rezeption (die ab 17:00 Uhr nicht mehr besetzt ist und deshalb gegen 15:00 Uhr schon leicht besorgt anrief, wo wir denn bleiben). Nach dem Einchecken wurden wir von einem Mitarbeiter zu unserer voll ausgestatteten Villa geführt. Und die lag - wie bereits gesagt - mitten im Reservat, an einem Wasserloch. Der Mitarbeiter nahm sich viel Zeit, uns alles zu zeigen und zu erklären. Und dann waren wir alleine mit den Tieren. Einfach unglaublich! Ständige Gäste an unserer Terrasse waren Antilopen (Nyalas), Wasserböcke und Zebras, die zum Teil bis auf wenige Meter an uns herankamen. Morgens besuchte uns regelmäßig eine Nashornmama mit Baby und am zweiten Abend kamen 5 Giraffen und tatsächlich 2 Nilpferde zu uns. Außerdem haben wir eine geführte Tour durch das wirklich riesige Areal unternommen. Unser Guide Hanri war liebenswürdig und hat uns ausführlich und sehr kompetent die Besonderheiten der dort lebenden Tiere erläutert. Wir waren absolut begeistert. Ein Tipp für andere: Es gibt in der Nähe kein Restaurant und keine Möglichkeit, einzukaufen. Nehmt deshalb genug Essen und Getränke mit, am besten zum Grillen, denn es gibt an jeder Villa eine wunderschöne Feuerstelle.
