"The property is undergoing "rejuvenation "....the outside is a mess with various odd jobs occuring. The front desk has no clue as to what room we were assigned to. The worse hotel experience of my life. We had two nights prepaid.. Left as soon as we could get out after the first night. The front desk could not give me a receipt because they had two different names registered in the room we were in..could not find our name in the computer. They should be closed down."

"Overall the room was good. The internet would not stay connected and the tv stopped working. I did not bring it to the hotel’s attention so I should take on part of that responsibility "

"There was no curtain on the window or for the shower. The TV only got one channel and would shut off after a couple of minutes. There was no soap or toilet paper. The manager made very little effort however the housekeeper took a great deal of effort to make the room work for me. She personally put up a window curtain, a shower curtain, and brought me toilet paper. If not for her efforts I would not have stayed."

"I would not recommend this hotel. Pictures are not accurate of the rooms. There was barely any furniture in the room, I got a suite. Towels were dirty, blood stain on lamp shade and ceiling. A very right part of town to stay in, I didn’t feel very safe at all. Front desk staff seemed to be high on something and check in took too long. Staff not dressed professionally. You get what you pay for, I was very disappointed - avoid if you can. "

"The state uses it as a homeless shelter and halfway house. Its not an acutal hotel and you will not be refunded your money. Do not book a room there. "

"Did not stay there was given dirty towels and sheets had not been changed in weeks. Doubled the price after Expedia confirmed that it would not change. Place looked like a pig pen."

"The neglect of basic property maintenance as well as cleaning/deep cleaning is apparent but It is an older property and for the price it’s at or below what you’d expect. The older gentleman that checked me in was a little angry/abrasive and did not seem to believe that I would be staying alone in my booked room. Shower was hot, bed was ok, and it was quiet enough for sound sleep (Sunday night) "

"We love staying here. We like the serenity and peacefulness. We like the beautiful drive to different places even though it may be a 30 min to an hour drive depending on where you want to go.we’ll definitely be back again!"

"We were born and raised in Greeneville, and have always gone back to meet up and camp at Paint Creek. Now we are older and Paint Creek has been closing in the winter, so we decided we'd rent the lodge. It was absolutely perfect. Old, rustic, in the mountains, by the creek, and a fire pit with wood on-site. This place is awesome. We will definitely be back!"

"Great location for a sort of last minute booking! Not too far from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. You can hike with llamas just ten minutes away! As I told the owner having instructions for the tv would be helpful, and could not tell when oven was preheated as lights didn’t work."
